Staff were so welcoming and friendly Room and reception was spotless Bed was comfy Only taking away a mark as we couldn’t park outside the hotel as there is limited parking. We parked away from the hotel and walked up the hill

Beautiful location, spotless and very comfortable room, excellent meal, very well trained, courteous and friendly staff A lot of steps as described in the accommodation details but staff were very helpful carrying bags for us and did so with genuine smile

The staff were very pleasant The breakfast and dinner was sufficient. It was exceptionally dated. The decor and room facilities need modernizing considerably It should not be rated 5 star. Despite the staff being helpful and friendly the superior room was not worth the cost. We actually didn’t stay the second night. We left and drove to another hotel. No parking

The rooms are a bit small and the overhang from the ceiling significantly reduced the amount of space available. There also is not a lot of parking and the spots being for overnight guests only was not really enforced.

Floors creak a bit. I don't know if all my walking around bothered the other guests. Minor point.

It was in a good location and had a view of the sea. Staff was very nice. They provided tea in the room. Could’ve been such a cool place but needs a new decorator. The walls are painted a black or extremely dark green and the paint job isn’t professional. If they’d just gone with various shades of beachy whites. Sounds picky but I kept looking around and thinking how cute it could’ve been.

The radiator wasn't working so the room was a tad cold. When we asked about it we got a portable radiator which just didn't cut it. Fortunately it wasn't bitterly cold that night.

Beautiful view. Great dinner The Indian gentleman that checked us in, helped with bags etc. his service was outstanding. I couldn't remember his name but he wore glasses and said he was from Shimla, Delhi. More shelves for clothes or an extra cupboard.

Lovely decor Could be slightly cleaner - wall / air vent - curtains were missing hooks so hanging off in places.

Location and very nice staff The staff was very nice. The place needs some love and attention. The carpets on the stairs was very stained, the rooms need a fresh coat of paint etc. It is clear that people do or have smoked in the rooms and they try to cover it up with air freshener. Also the photos are not an accurate depiction. The rooms are very very small and the lighting is far too bright- nearly industrial. The bed was comfy enough. The walls are very thin and you can here people walking and talking in all the rooms around you. For the price, I expected a little better.

Everyone we dealt with at the hotel was very friendly and professional. The rooms were very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay there.

Excellent location. Large room and reasonably sized bed. Modern bathroom. Room modestly decorated. Great view out of the top floor window. Parking provided directly outside with the pier in close proximity. Struggled to sleep due to the lack of soundproofing and heat in the room. A standing fan was provided but this was also noisy. The room could do with a full-length wall-mounted mirror in the main room rather than the storage cupboard. The addition of an iron would also be beneficial. The television in the room did not have standard TV channels, which was a bit odd. The hotel would benefit from some redecoration leading up to the rooms and within the room.

Friendly hosts, good breakfast and dinner, and beautiful view over the bay Coffee was weak and the chefs seem confused as to what “vegan” meant. Our waiter spoke incredibly softly to the point we couldn’t hear him.

The seaview from the window was amazing and the room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Everything you would expect from a great hotel.
