Could not open windows enough to ventilate the room in the current heatwave so an uncomfortable night’s sleep.

We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant.

Lovely location, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable stay, food and service was brilliant.

Without being to picky when we went for breakfast no hoovering had not been done so the night before mess was still on the floor...that was just a small thing.

The perfect country pub in Wales! This is exactly what I wanted...a spacious room in a country pub with a view and amazing meals on premises. A short 10 minute ride from the Bangor train station this is a great location to start or end your exploration of Anglesey. Big bonus is the staff are AMAZING - super hospitable where the guest is always the priority.

The Victoria had everything this traveler needed to provide a restful and stimulating sojourn. The hotel is a short ride from Bangor railway station on the Anglesey side of the bridge. The bar and outdoor sitting area gave my dog and I more than enough room to relax and enjoy the view of the Menai Strait. Shops are a few steps away, and the hotel has an extensive menu which apparently attracts locals as well as visitors. Those with mobility issues might want to avoid the stair flights to upper rooms.

Good location. Garden area was well maintained and seating facilities were comfortable. Sea view room was bijou but provided good facilities and services. Bar and restaurant areas were comfortable and relaxed. Bar and restaurant services could be improved. Staff were generally pleasant, but occasionally a bit surly - gave me the feeling they were understaffed. Drinks at the bar and meals from the restaurant had to be paid immediately- not allowed to put on account and settle up on departure

Lovely breakfast outside on the terrace with beautiful views of the Menai Straits. Lovely garden. A green light near the bedroom door was permanently on and lit the room at night. No room service menu.

Absolutely beautiful location and view. Staff were friendly and helpful, room was comfortable, clean and well decorated with all facilities needed.

Great location, friendly staff, very clean and comfortable. We were late arriving and probably got the last the kitchen had to offer, some meal items were a little overdone. Good quality breakfast though.

The hotel was such a delight. Lovely old building. Easy parking. Right on the waterfront. The breakfast served in the Orangery. This had views over the bay and we were delighted by the birds playing on the lawn. Such a lovely location. Rooms were stylish and modern, and keeping the historical note. Staff so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast food was adequate and pleasant, not excellent.

Great room, clean and well appointed. Staff were very attentive, polite and hard-working. Location fantastic. Drinks were very expensive.

We booked the evening meals for all 3 days which were excellent. We spent at least 2 hours in the garden every afternoon which was pleasant. Because I am 86 the staff helped with the luggage before asking for help Not much although found the stairs hard work but that couldn't be helped as the building was listed
