more power point access there was 1 double power point one side was covered by the bed, and to use the kettle it was in the bathroom, wanted to do some work on my laptop but there was no power point near the desk

The location and value was great. The Hotel is perfectly fine and didn't have a noise issue. Though I was on the second floor of rooms. I didn't try the food there but it looked like good pub grub and a good happy hour with a nice little outdoor seating area to chill in as well as the comfy interior. An easy, under 5min walk to buses, trains and the main street and shops. A shame there wasn't a mini fridge in the room and a power point by the desk otherwise it had the basics and was perfectly suitable for a short couple of nights stay. There are stairs as the access to the rooms so beware if you have mobility issues.

Very noisy room . They have a big exhaust fan running 24-7 beside room which is very noisy

No bell at check in section to signal attention. Long wait times before being attended to for check in. Going up the stairs was involuntary workout but okay.

Clean, quiet and fresh decor/facilities. Excellent en suite facilities. Good value.
