The room had one window that was not properly closing, on the first night it was cold, the temperature was ok on the rest of the days. The wifi was not working in the rooms. The food was ok and it was good to have daily transport to the slope. The price was higher than what was offered.

Food Bansko became so expensive

The hotel has a ski room, shuttle bus to/from gondola, paid parking (15 BGN/day), a nice reception area where you can gather in the evenings next to a fireplace. The rooms are ok, we had plenty of hot water and heating. The staff is nice and helpful. The hotel (rooms, breakfast area, hallways) are very old and have not been refurbished in years. However, the pool area is the most disappointing of all of them - the water is cold, the ceiling is moldy and looks horrible. We tried it once and we never came back. The sauna door doesn't close properly. The breakfast is the same every day, which might be a problem for some, my main problem was the coffee. They are still using instant coffee, i do not understand why. They need to invest a lot of money in the hotel to make it a 4 star hotel as they say it is. It might be good to start with a new coffee maker :) there is actually an espresso machine in the breakfast area, but this coffee is not included, it's extra :(

Good location. Warm room. The staff is friendly except the lady on the reception. Nice fireplace. The food wasn’t good enough almost the same every day and was very poor quality and boring presentation. Mattresses are not comfortable and upper one is moving around giving the feeling you will fall down from the bed. The pool is not usable because the water is too cold and that was big disappointment. The receptionist claimed the water is 28 degrees but it was maximum 20 degrees at best. Most of the gym equipment was broken.

Our stay at the Evelina Palace Hotel was great. They let us check in 4 hours earlier . That gave us possibility to explore the place more. The room was very clean. Recommended. /

The pool and sauna The breakfast was limited with cheap products, the bed was very uncpnfortable, very old sheets, in the room was very cold, we had to sleep with our huddies on.
