Acadia Inn

Such a lovely stay! Especially loved the nightly smores!!

What a great spot this was. My husband and I spent two days in Bar Harbor and stayed at the Acadia Inn. Very friendly staff. Clean rooms. Nightly family oriented activities. Walkable to BH downtown, but there is also a free bus service. Overall, I highly recommend and would stay again. Nothing bad to say about this place.

The property was well maintained with lots of outdoor games and pool available as well as nightly activities for families. Breakfast is included and there were many options to keep everyone satisfied. The staff was exceptional. The Inn is also on the shuttle route which made it convenient to get to town or Acadia without the hassle of having to find a parking spot.

Because of all the kids I would recommend 9-10pm for the hot tub/pool as adult only. Even though the sign said no kids under 12 in hot tub that was not the case.

We had wonderful stay at this hotel. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and very family friendly. It's a perfect place for families with children. The hotel was very clean and the staff incredible friendly and helpful. Everyone made us feel very welcome and comfortable. There was nothing we didn't like about our stay.

I was very impressed with the staff and that the room was clean, also the island explorer was a great deal of help

The location is meticulously maintained and spotless, with a staff that generously offers a variety of complimentary items to enhance the customer experience. August 9-10, I booked a stay at Acadia Inn Acadia, expecting a smooth experience. Unfortunately, my credit card was charged three times for one of the rooms. Instead of the expected $800, they deducted nearly $2,000! If I hadn't caught this error, it seems unlikely they would have notified me. It took almost a week before they partially refunded the overcharge, and that was only after I initiated contact. There was no proactive apology or immediate resolution from their side. While the hotel does offer some nice freebies, these perks don't make up for the financial headache. If you plan to stay here, meticulously check your credit card statements. It's a shame because the potential for a great stay is overshadowed by such financial mishandling. Stay vigilant!

Rooms were very clean and up to date, no issues, staff was friendly knowledgeable and helpful with questions about the area, great to have added afternoon snacks, kids activities and outdoor games on the property and s’mores making at the end of the day! Breakfast was great- good variety for free breakfast! Overall excellent stay!!

This was a great choice! Rooms were very spacious and clean! Loved the wonderful breakfasts and “ trail mix” bar! Afternoon cookies hit the spot too after being out all day! So convenient having the shuttle take us around even tho you could walk downtown .. a little over a mile.. will definitely stay here again!

Best rest time we have ever had. All the staff are kind hearted and very helpful on every aspect. The unit is also well maintained and the breakfast and activities are great performed.

Rooms were clean, breakfast was good, and pool was nice! Extra touches like movies at night and s'mores were a nice touch!

Rooms were clean and updated. The breakfast was wonderful. The little extras ( like trail mix bags and charcuterie and fruit bowls on each floor) were an unexpected treat. The buses were super convenient. We would definitely stay again! Can’t think of anything
