About a mile walk to downtown! Perfect for us to work up an appetite for dinner! The staff was amazing. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Very quiet, friendly and helpful staff. Close to everything without being in the crowded downtown. Easy to access. If you are there for the sights it is great home base for couples, retirees, and solos.

Location was great just a little outside noise of town but on a free shuttle route into town which we really used. That is the ticket. The Island Explorer even does the park loop all free. Thin walls.

Room was very clean. Need soap holder for shower and next to sink. Need a bag support for 2 suitcases. None available in room.

Edenbrook is wonderful. Very clean. Staff is super helpful. It's located very close to the park and town. There is a park shuttle pick up right across the street from the hotel.

The room looked like it was recently remodeled. It was clean and bright. There were cute details such as the toilet paper bows and on the last day we ended up with a towel folded in the shape of a lobster which absolutely delighted my 11 yr old. My only complaint was that upon check in, no one was at the office and we had to wait about 10 minutes and when the staff did return, she did not apologize or acknowledge that we had been standing there waiting. It made me nervous for the rest of the stay, but everything else ended up being lovely.

Great, clean, affordable lodging so close to downtown Bar Harbor (still a walk though). The rooms are spacious, the staff is friendly, my room was quiet, and the balcony had a view down the hillside over Frenchman Bay. The only reason I gave it a "good" instead of "excellent" for amenities is that there's no fresh-brewed coffee or muffins, (except for the coffee pods in your room), which many other hotels here offer. But I'm a repeat guest! This place suits all my needs.

The room.was lovely and clean. There was plenty of parking and the walk into Bar Harbour was fine. The area was safe and we couldn't fault the stay at all

A well maintained older motel-style place that's really a cut above in terms of decor and cleanliness. The porches are great and the views from the upper buildings wonderful.
