Bluenose Inn - Bar Harbor Collection

The room is spacious and clean, the view was stunning -- we could see the sunrise from the balcony -- and the front desk staff were helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable! We stayed on the fourth floor, and the rain shower water pressure was more than adequate. Overall, we had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Good views, pretty clean hotel overall. Bathroom tiles were loose on the floor and rooms a little outdated but it is an older establishment. Staff was nice

The staff is friendly, helpful, and thorough - they came through with a band-aid one day (post-hiking) and a pair of pliers another day (removing a nail from my car tire). There is significant value for the money; our room was spacious, the amenities plentiful, and the bed quite comfortable. The coffee and water stations on the lobby level were an added touch, as was the well-stocked gift shop. Not being "breakfast people", we did not avail ourselves of the Mizzentop restaurant, which to some small part I wish was open for dinner, but as I noted, the town with its abundant restaurants is just so close, and the weather was perfect for walking. All in all, if and when we return to the area, I hope to stay at Bluenose again!

All rooms are having sea facing balcony with sunrise view. Excellent location, just a mile away from Bar Harbor town and 10 min drive from Cadillac Mountain. Enjoyed the pool. We will certainly visit again.

This was one of the nicest hotels my wife and I have ever stayed at. Your staff is AMAZING! The amenities are great!

Everyone was so kind and the hotel was kept up very well. Such a comfortable stay. The walk to the shuttle was incredibly long, especially at night, but understandable so not anyone’s fault.

A very nice Hotel near to the commercial center of Bar Harbor. For the cost I thought it would have more perks, i.e. a dining room and more breakfast options other than the on-the-grounds breakfast and lunch restaurant that is a short hike from the main hotel building; perhaps water or other beverages in-room; maybe a welcome mini bottle of wine, etc. in general, I thought that the Bluenose was a little overpriced.

The property is older but still outstanding. They have real room keys! Our family loved staying there and the view was incredible. It was really lovely sitting on the balcony while our son fell asleep in the room. Downtown Bar Harbor is a short walk away and you can get the bus back to the hotel quite easily.

We were in the main building (so not newly renovated) but it was great for us! It was an excellent launch point for our daily hikes and activities in Acadia. We were able to easily walk the 15 minutes into Bar Harbor to get dinner and visit the waterfront. We did not use the amenities (pools or bikes) so I can’t speak to the conditions of those. We did grab a free cup of coffee each morning before we started our day though. I would stay there again.

Room was clean and comfortable. Nice balcony overlooking water. Used the outdoor pool several times. Lots of towels and chairs available. Bed was comfortable. Nothing.

Gorgeous views, fabulous breakfast at Looking Glass restaurant, super helpful friendly staff. Adorable gift shop. Beautiful live piano music from lounge. Great indoor pool. Property entrance from the road needs more lighting -very hard to drive to it or find it at night
