The hotel was well located and was very clean. The room and bathroom were very clean as well. I enjoyed the breakfast, there were lots of things to try. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The air conditioning in the room was centrally controlled so the temperature in the room was fixed. I would have liked the room to be a bit colder, particularly during the night.

Great location, everything which is a top attraction in Barcelona (in area 1) is in travel distance within the public transport (metro, bus and etc) of a hour tops To add a mini fridge in each room or to have a main one for all the future customers, so you can store stuff bought from the supermarket - alcohol, water and etc.

Great central location and a clean, comfortable room. The staff were friendly, and although there was loud music when we arrived, it had stopped by bedtime so we had a peaceful night's sleep. Overall, we had a pleasant stay. We specifically chose this hotel because Booking.com advertised parking, and we filtered our search accordingly. Before arriving, we contacted the hotel to ask how parking would work on a Sunday. Only after following up were we informed that the nearby parking garage is closed on weekends, which is not mentioned in the Booking.com listing. While the hotel suggested alternative public car parks, this was not what was advertised and caused unnecessary stress before our arrival. I would encourage the hotel to clearly state this restriction in its listing so future guests can make an informed decision.

Nothing I was very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. When we entered the room, we found that the bed was not properly cleaned. The fitted sheet covering the mattress had a large dirty stain on it. We immediately asked for a replacement, but unfortunately the replacement sheet was also dirty. The sound insulation was also very poor. Every time guests in neighbouring rooms turned on the tap, used the shower, or flushed the toilet, the noise could be heard clearly from our room, making it difficult to relax. Another major disappointment was that there was no refrigerator in the room. During such hot weather, it is unreasonable to expect guests to drink warm water. The hotel only provided filtered tap water, which was not kept cold. The entrance to the hotel was also unpleasant. There were rubbish bins directly outside, and every time we entered or left the hotel we were met with a very strong, unpleasant smell. This created a poor first impression and made returning to the hotel an unpleasant experience. Overall, the cleanliness, lack of basic facilities, poor sound insulation, and unpleasant environment outside the hotel fell well below the standard I expected. I hope these issues will be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

The beds and air con were really good. Extra pillow given on request, kettle and tea and coffee in the room. The shower was good and plenty of hot water and the real bonus a sink plug that actually does its job. Location wise many for cafes and small eateries. Checki Check-in was quite the worst I have ever experienced. Granted the receptionist was booking in the family from hell consisting of 12 people. It took 40 minutes, no jest. I am 78 years old and all the chairs/seats were taken so I had to stand while the teenagers were lounging and in true spanish fashion no one offered a seat. The receptionist did not a acknowledge me during this 40 minutes or attempt to find me a sea. The noise and shouting was immense. After booking they then started to book tickets etc and were scratching around to pay. At this stage the receptionist should have asked them to stand aside while he booked in elderly, infirm people. I am afraid I lost my temper. It was obvious the receptionist could not cope. Breakfast was adequate but that's all, certainly not Exceptional. The hotel is dated but clean and from the outside does not look invited, not helped by a line of smelly bins directly in front of the doors.qq
