I like the location of the hotel. The pillows were great. My room was tiny. The bathroom was tiny. The walls are paper thin. I could hear the room next door opening their window coverings. The bed was very firm, which I like but the "double" bed could not fit 2 normal sized people, so my friend had to stay somewhere else.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the complimentary fruit, water, and sparkling water available at reception. Having a fan in the room was also a great touch and made the stay more comfortable. There was an unpleasant smell around the elevator area, and the area behind the bed was not clean. Unfortunately, there were also no amenities provided in the room.

Location is great! Staff is kind. The free water fountain at the entrance is great. There was Ac in the room. Our room was basically underground, with no sunlight at all and limited ventilation.

I booked this quite last minute (2 days before arrival) because I wanted to stay in a private hotel room (rather than a hostel as I had originally booked) with air conditioning, given the August heat of Barcelona. I was really pleased with my small single room - very comfortable temperature, clean, good working shower, minibar with some cool drinks, TV. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed my stay. There was free cold water provided in the lobby too. Staff on Reception were friendly. It's good location just a few minutes' walk from a couple of Metro stations. My window looked out to a small walkway and less than a metre from a window to another room, so I had to keep my curtains closed almost all the time. There wasn't a huge amount of noise insulation and so because I had a couple of late nights I was sleeping in late but it was difficult due to the noise of the cleaners in the corridor (also could hear neighbouring rooms quite clearly at times). It wasn't awful but I'd recommend earplugs. Coming back late at night was a little worrying as the street outside is very dark and quiet. Finally, it was quite expensive, working out at around €100 per night - but I guess that's Barcelona prices!

Great location, really close by many good food spots, the stations Monumental and Gloriés, also walking distance to Sagrada Família. Staff were friendly and the place was clean and well taken care of. Would stay there again.
