Location is perfect. Breakfast was deco Maintenance (plumbing issues, lighting in the room, no hooks for clothing, no TV)
-
Did not like that the bathroom had a smell of sewer, when we showered water would come out on the bottom of the wall and on the floor in the adjoining room.
-
Location is not bad The hotel was too old, room is too small. Also bathroom. No window facing outside. Bed is not comfortable

Liked the location and the friendly staff plus free breakfast There were a bunch of kids that behaved like Idiots. We were able to check in at 1 pm and they were slamming doors, screaming and running up and down the hallway while we tried to get a nap in. The staff either didn’t hear that or just ignored them

A bit old. But good overall

There was breakfast included. Although the hotel was near La Rambla, the neighborhood wasn't very nice.

You can't beat the location. We didn't eat breakfast but the juice selection was great. Very nice room, too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small but perfect for just sleeping. The hotel itself is quite pretty inside, too. They called taxis for us twice and came to get us in the breakfast room when one arrived. We will definitely be staying here again if/when we come back. We could not have had a better place for our needs. No easy to find bathroom in registration. Our air conditioner (thank goodness for that!) made noises which woke my husband up at times.

The property is a good location to La Rambla and a lot of nearby sites in Barcelona. You also have easy access to the trains. There is a beautiful interior atrium with green plants and vines hanging, which makes for a lovely place to relax. The room is bare and you have to rent a hair dryer from the desk. Also, you are required to leave your key with the desk each time you go out. I found this a bit odd, but we had nothing taken from our room during our stay. There are no basic complimentary toiletries available. We had an attic room which was on the top floor and it go quite warm during the summer days.

Great location, very comfortable given its a budget accommodation.

The location was convenient. Close to La Rambla and a comfortable walk to waterfront. Our room was very basic, but clean with nice shower with good pressure. The breakfast was good, offered several options. Walls were thin and could hear many guests arriving at all hours, doors slamming. There was some sketchiness to the area within a block or two. Many younger guests, solo or couples. Not really a good fit for families.

The hotel was centrally located, clean, and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast offered a nice variety of options, including several meats, cheeses, pastries, juices, and a coffee machine that provided a selection of specialty coffee drinks. The room was somewhat compact, and the desk showed a bit of wear and instability. The shower area was quite small, and drainage was slower than expected, which occasionally resulted in water pooling during use.

The breakfast wasn't tasty, the croissants were super dry, the eggs very hard and no fruit included.
-
Location was good Room was dirty, no hairdryer, no amenities except for a dinky bar of soap. The rooms were very small. Bathroom was dirty….. I spoke with the receptionist about the dirty room…. He just shrugged his shoulders,

The elevator took me back in time. It had a door which opened to access the elevator!
-
My room only had 1 electric outlet and the pigeons noise was constant. Other rooms had more outlets.

Location The Romney was dark and smells moldy

Staff was so nice. Hotel was beautiful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved staying here

The tub offered a warm and refreshing shower. It is a tub though and if one has difficulty with accessing a tub, check about other options. The breakfast is minor. But we walked 3 minutes to restaurants in Las Ramblas and had tasty warm breakfasts, so that wasn't an issue. I would stay again.
