The beauty of it! The location and the peace!! Nothing!!

Perfect overnight stay.

Destination in and of itself. Beautiful, tastefully decorated, quality products and services. The restaurants options were too limited. Mostly tapas with seafood and pork which we don’t eat. Also it was very tough to get an Uber or taxi into town. Sometimes we gave up and stayed at the hotel all day (which isn’t the worst since it’s gorgeous and the staff is so nice). Because it’s on a hill, walking into town wasn’t really an option. Would be great if the hotel offered bicycles and vespas. Lastly it would have been great to have outdoor heaters so we could enjoy the views in the evening and our terrace as our stay was in spring where the temps were 40 to 60 Fahrenheit with constant wind.

Everything. Fantastic hotel, fantastic staff. Nothing.

toilet flusher in bedroom didn't work particularly well.

The room was a bit cold. The mini bar lack small beverages. It was a bit cold in the room and toilet. There was a bit of a smell in a toilet.

I enjoyed the general interior design of the hotel, and the staff was fairly kind. I had asked them to prepare the room for somebody’s birthday(we were 3 people) and they gifted us with a underwhelmingly small cake and a bottle of champagne with 2 mini balloons attached to it. I asked to have the room decorated. unfortunately the cake was so small that the person didn’t even notice it on first glance when we arrived in the room. Was disappointed because I even proposed to pay for the room to be decorated and they said that they would do it for free. I didn’t know that that would mean that the surprise would then be minuscule and barely noticeable. Apple and peach crumble that I ordered was also very good, although almost criminally overpriced for its size. While I always try to make fair reviews, I have to say that this was the worst hotel that I have stayed whilst in Barcelona. From the minute we got to our relatively small suite, we were greeted with a multitude of bugs that were right at the windows. We had read some reviews before that this place had problems with bugs due to it’s location, but I didn’t expect to have to kill over 10 bugs in the span of just two nights. I am used to staying at other five-star hotels and at such a price tag, usually snacks in the mini bar are free, as well as the water that is purposefully placed right on the bedside table. The pan con tomate that I ordered was terrible and not seasoned at all. You could also tell that the bread was stale and had been in the freezer prior to.

Perfect view, big room, service was good Most part of spa facilities was out of service. I think it's because of closing for renovation, but it was unexpected
-
Nothing The bathroom did not have all the necessary amenities, the room was cold, we had to change it. The breakfast had a very limited choice. It takes a very long time to call a taxi, inconvenient transportation
-

Pretty view of Barcelona. Dinner was good, I recommend the cheesecake. The room was big and shower was huge. There was a twenty minute wait to check-in and the room was not ready even though it was after 3pm. In the bathroom, the bath water was orange so could not be used. The spa had lots of broken equipment. The jacuzzi did not work, the women's sauna was at too high a fixed temperature, the steam room was too cold. The men's sauna was broken. The gym had no water cups and the fruit was mouldy. Overall the hotel is a little tired and needs refurbishment.

The views are the best of what the hotel has to offer. The terrace in our room was amazing. The property is quite dated and the whole hotel needs a touch up: walls need painting, furniture was quite old and used… The hotel is a “Leading Hotel of the World” but seen the conditions of the hotel, it doesn’t look like. the restaurant is quite expensive as well. A water bottle was 9€ which is insane.

Every member of staff was attentive, friendly and helpful with the best view over Barcelona Quality of breakfast buffet quite poor. Outdated decor and poor maintenance of plumbing world with no water warm water in spa showers and very poor water pressure in room shower
