The location was great however the property needs some upgrading and more umbrellas on the rooftop pool area. Rooms seem to be outdated

Great location. Really friendly staff. Nice touches (turn down service). Called to check everything ok. Sent thank you gift. Great pool and sun loungers. Air con wasn’t cold enough in room and can’t control it. Difficult at breakfast with a dietary requirement

location Superior room: small size, split level with steps, awful, nowhere it is described as a split level room, $362.00 dollars per night, absolutely bad value for your money. On top of everything, the room adjusted to mine occupied by a barking crying dog.

Location was good. But some weirdos and homeless people nearby Was noise from other rooms

We have spent 12 days in Spain and this hotel's staff were by far the best we came across among all interactions we had in the 3 cities we have visited (hotels, restaurants, shops, etc..). They were all attentive, positive, professional and trying to deliver the best within the limitations of the hotel's physical structure. The breakfast options were very good for a 4-star hotel though the restaurant was small, resulting in queues for seating. The paid car park of the hotel is both positive (just next to hotel, safe, electric car charging was available) and negative (so narrow that only advisable for experienced drivers with a small car or your car is quite old that you don't care if you would add a few more scratches to your car while trying to navigate within the maze). This is my 4th hotel stay in Barcelona in different times. My expectations were low in terms of room size and cleanliness, this hotel exceeded my expectations. We stayed in a family room with 4 members of the family. This is essentially two rooms with an access door in between. We had a ration (!) of 1 liter water only per day. I ordered 2 more liters from the room service at a cost of 7+ euros per liter! I used the room service once. While the pizza and burger was ok for their price and the 4-star of the hotel, it was a big bad surprise to receive an acai bowl without acai but a thin layer of light brown creamy something that had no acai taste. At first I thought they had sent it by mistake, but the room service boy tried to explain that that is the right plate. Acai paste in an acai bowl is one of the few standardized things all over the world like a Coke or USB slot, but not at this hotel, so be aware. If the online check in works (did not work when we were there) and you can select your room, try to get a room away from the lifts, which make quite a noise.

Only the location Staff were very unhelpful. Very confusing feedback. We asked for a better room. One receptionist checked on the computer and said yes available from tomorrow. Few minutes later her manager says no.

Dining room was ok, but staffed by only one person. The hotel offered to book a pickup for us from the airport, which we accepted. They sent me a payment link, and I paid (a massively inflated fee), also filling in all of our flight into - flight number, departure airport (London Heathrow), arrival airport, time, airline. However, it turned out to be a scam. When we arrived, I received a text to say the taxi driver had cancelled the collection. When I messaged him, he said the collection had been booked from the hotel and not the airport. If this is true, that was the hotel's error, not ours. It also makes no sense that they'd ask for all our flight information and then not realise we were flying in from London. I called the hotel for help and they told me they had no number for the taxi firm (despite using them all the time for their clients) and they suggested we just get a taxi from the airport. We had to queue for 40 minutes in the heat, with a 6 year old and an 80 year, and pay a second time for a taxi. On the original booking I'd also paid extra for a child seat for safety, which we obviously now could not get at the airport. The taxi firm now won't refund us a penny (I understand keeping something for a failed collection, but all 90 Euros? For a trip they didn't even undertake?), and the hotel won't take responsibility for their error either, so I can only conclude that this is a scam they run together. The fact that nobody could even help me when I called from the airport speaks volumes. Do not trust this hotel. Do not give them your money.
