The location is nice. And staff are friendly Before my stay, I received an excessive number of emails asking me to make the payment (basically 3-5 emails per day for 1-2 months). I contacted the hotel and explained that I intended to pay upon arrival, but was told that the system would continue sending reminders until the payment was completed. This was extremely annoying. After my stay, I also received several additional emails asking me to leave feedback.

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was amazing, and the hotel is conveniently located just a 5–7 minute walk from the shopping district and Casa Batlló. The service was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were very pleased with our stay and would happily recommend this hotel.

I think a small towel and a box of tissue can be put in the room. Also we did not find the hairdryer until the last morning.

Service was excellent, welcoming, and very attentive to all our needs. We received a complimentary bottle of champagne and truffles on our check in day! I can't think of anything that we didn't like about this hotel.

We appreciated absolutely everything about this property. For starters, it’s centrally located in a very walkable area which made things super convenient. Our hotel room was very roomy, the bed was comfortable, the room was pristine and well laid out, and the a/c worked great. In addition to all of this, the rooftop pool was really nice. But in my opinion, the best thing about our stay at the Olivia Balmes Hotel was the excellent service we received from absolutely everyone. There was not a single thing we didn’t like.

None of the below will prevent me from coming again: - I missed an espresso machine in the room (Although you can get free espresso in the morning) - The gym is missing a standard/basic bench

The location is great. The rooms are stylish and spacious for the location in central Barcelona. Our room was very quiet, really great. The breakfast was pretty good as well. The staff was super-friendly, all around. The bathtub/shower arrangement in our room was a bit weird. Appearance trumping practicality a bit, though still usable and clean. It's a minor issue, though.

Exceptional location in very nice neighbourhood., clean and ataff are friendly and helpful. Very close just few minutes walk to the Rambla de Catalunya and Passeig de Gracia. Definitely will come back to this hotel.next time in Barcelona again.

The location was Great! The hotel is beautiful! They have lots of staff who are all pleasant. The bed was marginally comfortable but the pillows were awful! The cheap faucet in the shower seems to be made of plastic and turns to the LEFT to turn it off. You need to use 2 hands to turn it. The fake wood flowering creaks with every step you take. I get the impression they built a beautiful hotel in a great location, then ran out of money as they were finishing and use cheap things at the end. The restaurant is also marginal. Okay to poor food So....Replace the cheap faucet in the shower, replace the floor and install properly, then replace the marginal mattress and awful pillows one expects to find in a hotel where you spend $500 per night.

The hotel is in an excellent location—peaceful and not crowded—yet close to restaurants, attractions, and shopping areas. The room is large and spacious, and the breakfast is excellent. Above all, the service provided by the entire hotel staff is truly exceptional. Highly recommended.
