TOC Hostel Barcelona

Something very inconvenient happened in my room during my stay. A roommate making a constant noise impaired everyone to stay there. Although I understand that every place should be inclusive for people with disability, the hostel should have policies to avoid this inconvenience in shared rooms. It was clear that the situation was not comfortable for anyone. Fortunately, I was promptly allocated to another room by the front desk guys despite that inconvenience. Also, they should have more social activities in the hostel.

The location is close to most tourist attractions in Barcelona.

The in-room bathroom was not usable, sliding door jammed. The accessible toilet was not very clean.

The location is really suits to my preference. The price is not suitable for it, considering its not a hotel.

* Location is perfect * The hostel, room, and bathroom are clean * Lockers area inside the room is separated from beds, which decreases noise. * Safe, even the front main door is open only by card * The beds need curtains for some privacy and protection of the light of the room while sleeping. * The door lock of the room makes noise when people open or close the door, and the beds beside the door always wake up by the noise of the lock. * shower room is not tidy ... People leave their stuff their after using like towels, shampoo, and papers.

The location. Near everything in dowtown.

The hostal was amazing, clean, nice and very organized.

The location was excellent, just a short walk from the metro station and not far from many of the main tourist attractions. The reception staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, especially Mario, who genuinely tried his best to resolve the issues I experienced. The room layout was very poorly designed. The beds were placed right next to the entrance, so every time someone opened the door, anyone lying in those beds felt uncomfortable and had to move their legs to let people pass. Since the beds didn’t have privacy curtains, there was no privacy at all, which made the stay quite uncomfortable. There were no towels provided, and guests had to pay extra to rent one. The lockers were located at the far end of the room, so whenever someone needed to access their locker during the night, they had to walk past all the beds, disturbing other guests. Some of the toilet faucets stopped running every five seconds, making them very difficult to use. The swimming pool water was very dirty. Finally, the coffee served at the café was honestly the worst coffee I have ever had.

The location was excellent and the reception staff were helpful whenever assistance was needed. Unfortunately, the poor room layout, lack of privacy, extra charges for basic amenities, maintenance issues, and the cleanliness of the pool made the overall experience disappointing.

I stayed in this hotel in a shared female dormitory for a few days and it was an amazing experience. The rooms are very clean and nice, beds are comfortable and you have a pool as well that can be used during the day to cool down a bit. The staff was very helpful and kind and I really enjoyed my time here. The metro is just a few minutes walking and the busses are right in front of the hotel. The only thing that bothered me a bit is that the beds in the dormitory didn't have a curtain for more privacy.

Lobby area, restaurant and bar it’s big and comfy. Bed. The bed has no curtains to give some privacy I had make my own. The kitchen area is the basement and because no one is there from hotel staff people take your stuff. No rules or regulations in the dorm people close the lights when ever they want I always walk in total darkness after 9 pm and use my mobile lights to walk around.
