The location is excellent and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops. Reception staff were generally polite and tried to assist when concerns were raised. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is very dark and gloomy. The bright yellow reception area gives a completely different impression from the rest of the property. Once you enter the corridors and rooms, lighting is poor throughout the hotel. We were moved to a second room after complaining, but it was essentially the same room with a different view. Soundproofing is extremely poor. Door slamming and corridor noise can be heard clearly inside the rooms. During our stay there was also drilling and construction noise in the morning. The room was uncomfortably warm on the first night, and the air-conditioning system appeared to be centrally controlled. We also encountered insects in the room. The most disappointing issue occurred after check-out. Following complaints raised during the stay, Booking.com approved compensation of €85.24. The hotel subsequently retained €85.24 from my €100 security deposit, returning only €14.76. In my opinion, a security deposit should be used only for damages or legitimate additional charges, not to offset compensation granted for guest complaints.

Good location Very thin walls, could hear shouting coming from other rooms. Air conditioning is advertised but does not work. The rooms are not worth the money.

Perfect location, 200 m from Placa Catalunya. The area is full of restaurants and very walkable. The hotel staff was super friendly, the beds comfortable, and the breakfast had lots of options. The doors aren’t tightly sealed, so the next door neighbors’ noise is always around. And there’s no way to change the A/C or heating.

Great location right off of Laietana

Location great. Value good. Friendly front desk. Shower flooded and flooded the bedroom floor all the way to the bed. It just seemed barely renovated/barely decent…bare bones- in and out type place. Not cozy or charming. Wouldn’t stay more than a night. Got the feeling I’d start noticing things I don’t want to see.

Great location, very friendly staff, confortable bed. There is a bit of noise and vibation from the subway.

Totally overpriced, old, shabby, dark dungeon. To the moon and back far away from the pictures you see on the website. Bathroom stinks, shower hose height can’t be regulated in water is leaking. White walls are with marks

The bed was quite small for 2 people. Luckily we are not fat, otherwise I might hot have fit.

Location was awesome, were able to walk everywhere or take the metro which was nearby. They had everything you needed nothing special, but more than enough. Bed was too short and you could hear your neighbors talking when it was quiet
