Absolutely gorgeous apartment in a superb art deco building. The location is perfect. Not a complaint at all, but travelers should be aware that this huge apartment is shared by other guests, each with their own private bathroom.

Beautiful room in amazing building. Owner was super friendly and helpful and location is the best! Bathroom was really small (I am 167 ) but we were allowed to use a bigger bathroom on the days there weren’t any other people using it.

Beautiful place to stay in the center of Barcelona, easy access to great restaurants and bars. Carlos was lovely.

It was pretty and quaint, and was like going back in time. The bed was very comfortable and everything was kept clean. The host was responsive and informative. A lovely experience! The location was hard to find at first because there is no outside sign. Bathroom is adjacent to the room and not in the room, as you would expect in this type of accommodation. It is also minimalist, so take caution if you are not in great physical shape.

This was a perfect stay in Barcelona. I appreciate Carlos sharing his Casa with us. The location was absolutely perfect to walk to all of the major attractions and take public transport, and there were so many amazing restaurants all around. My husband and I had a room with a balcony, and it was nice being able to open the doors for fresh air and sunlight. The bed and pillows were very comfortable! I was nervous about a shared bathroom, but it ended up we had one to ourselves, just outside the room. It was also very clean. There was no loud noise at night. Other guests were all quiet and respectful, and we highly recommend staying here. It was quite expensive, but as I mentioned it was a great experience so I’m not mad about it!

I enjoyed the old-world Spanish ambience of this hotel. Truly a unique experience. It was very clean. Carlos was a fantastic host. So helpful with questions and information about Barcelona. He also was available whenever we needed his assistance. The hotel room was lovely. However, the bathroom assigned to the room and separate was very tiny, which made it difficult to maneuver to change clothes or shower.

Unique and historic place. An experience! Clean, a great host, good location, and comfortable beds, we slept really well. It is a hostel, but we had two rooms and a bathroom to ourselves. The only downfall, which was pretty significant, was that the shower did not drain. It eventually did, but it was a juggle to turn the water on and off while washing so that it wouldn’t get too backed up.

Carlos, the host, was very lovely and welcoming and helpful. Quickly responded to anything we needed. The aircon kept the place nice and cool which was a relief coming from the heat outside. The stained glass windows and decorative ceilings made the stay feel special. Location was excellent, everything was super walkable. The bathroom is a little small as it’s an old building. There were a couple issues with the bathroom but they were fixed very quickly :)

Such a beautiful place. Room is super big and clean. Location is perfect. Host was really friendly. The windows are facing a very busy street. Might be noisy for light sleepers. We had earplugs so it didn’t affect us.
