Location and staff were fabulous and so was the breakfast selection. Especially liked the lounge area in foyer as our son lives next door and it was more comfortable and cleaner than his apartment ? Probably my fault with booking but we had twin beds

Wonderful, competent, friendly and helpful staff managed a large quantity of guests without problems. Perfect location in the most desirable area for tourist visitors. Clean, cool and quiet rooms were a haven for tired tourists. The price is outstanding for the services we received. Also, the breakfast buffet is the most impressive spread that I have ever encountered in a 3 star hotel (and in most most 4 star hotels, too). We had a wonderful visit at this hotel and will recommend it to all friends, family and business associates here in the US. Hoping to come back soon! It was a little hard to find the hotel, driving there in a family car. You have to be familiar with the location to navigate the maze of tiny streets, but there are 2 larger areas within easy walking distance, where your friends can drop you off: Plaze De San Jaume and a Plaza next to Las Ramblas.

    The beds were not comfortable

We chose the Miro Room which was a suite of 3 rooms including a large lounge room, large bedroom and large shower and bath room. All of the furnishings were timber and influenced by the architect, Antonio Gaudi who designed the Sagrada Familia and other noteable landmarks in Barcelona. The suite was fabuous and very quiet despite being located on quite a busy little street leading down to La Rambla. We would have loved a little coffee machine instead of the horrible powdered Nescafe sachets. Also some milk in the frig and perhaps a welcoming biscuit.

The view was amazing and the rooms were a good size. The room I shared with my husband didn’t have a queen bed but 2 twin beds which was funny. The breakfast was a good spread but not our personal favorite.

Nothing During a recent stay in June, we walked into our assigned room and immediately discovered an active infestation of bed bugs right on the mattress. I have attached a photo of the bed bug and a photo of the bed for reference so you can see which hotel I am talking about. You'll note that the bed bug was visible even on top of the sheets, which is insane. It was also very fat—clearly, it was well fed. We took clear photos and fled immediately to protect our health. The hotel's "solutions" were insulting and unviable: they tried to force two travelers into a single bed in a tiny room, which would have instantly cross-contaminated our clean luggage and exposed us both to the infestation. Worse, management is now fraudulently withholding our money by lying and claiming these blatant bed bugs were just "humidity bugs"—a pathetic excuse that any quick Google search easily disproves. To add insult to injury, Booking only offered us a pathetic 30 euro voucher for this entire dangerous ordeal. We know we will likely never see our full money back, but we want to protect you. Even if you have to pay a bit more or stay a bit further out, anywhere in Barcelona is better than this biohazard. We have formally reported this establishment to the Barcelona Public Health Agency (ASPB) for their dangerous inaction. Save yourselves.

Location was centrally located The beds were not overly comfortable and the first room was located above an alley where street sweepers and garbage collectors were working most of the night causing poor sleeping conditions. We were moved to a smaller more quiet room the last day of our stay.

Just like on the pictures, spacious, bright and comfortable room. Good breakfast with a lot of options. Right in the Gothic quarter without the noise coming through into the room. Nothing

AC did not work well. Refrigerator was not cold. Room was dirty.

A lot of street noise from people outside the hotel late into the night that made it hard to sleep well.

Location was great! A good coffee shop very close that opened at 7am. Very clean and staff was nice. No coffee machine in room and did not like the coffee or their breakfast in basement cafe. Beds were not that comfortable but not horrible. Make sure you bring soap, shampoo and conditioner.

Large lovely room with a balcony overlooking the streets. We could hear the church bells ringing and people singing in the square. The employees were very helpful and friendly.

It had a good breakfast. Room was small, no coffee maker or mini frig.
