This was my second time staying at this property — the first time I stayed with my husband and we noticed that there was only one other room. This time we brought my mom to Italy with us and booked both rooms, so we had the whole property to ourselves. The property is conveniently located right near the San Sabino cathedral in old Bari. The property was Michele’s family home and he has beautifully restored it to accommodate modern needs while preserving its history. Michele was an excellent host and was able to recommend local attractions, like a good lido beach, and even helped with a taxi to the airport. He also set out a beautiful breakfast each morning with local products and coffee made to order. The stairs are steep — not a problem for us but it would not be good for guests with mobility issues. Michele helped us get our luggage up and down the stairs at check-in and check-out.

Michele, the host, was very friendly and instantaneous on communications. The breakfast was very filling. We had eggs, hot croissants, fruit, yogurt, meats and cheeses. The ricotta was homemade. The place was very clean and was was located in the heart of old town Bari with many good restaurants and churches. Almost all of the 0.8 mi walking distance to the train & bus station was down a pedestrian boulevard with high end shopping. The place does not have a lift, not many do (if any) in old town. I would still stay here for that true Italian experience.

We stayed here in 2022 and knew we wanted to stay again on our 2026 trip . Great location , small Old building nicely redone a few years ago with 2 guest rooms . The friendly owner makes you a delicious breakfast in the morning . Nothing

Modern rooms, clean and in a centuries old building! Comfortable beds, great pillows, fabulous location! Friendly host who served us a wonderful breakfast! Loved our stay!

The property was centrally located in the center, easy to walk to everything Nothing to not like. The stairs were a challenge for luggage. We brought toiletries to the upper level and left non essentials on the lower floor

The room was charming, the entire place was as well. The host was very friendly! Lovely individual breakfast, so many delicious options. Location was fantastic! Felt like home, wish I could have stayed longer! Nothing, I loved everything! The stairs are very steep to the room so not good if you have mobility issues.

NOTHING! Sorry! Only 2 rooms are in this facility. One on first floor and second is on second floor. It is very difficult to go upstairs for those how have knee problems! (Photo of stairs is enclosed). The location is good only for young people who would like to stay in the crowded area! Also there is NO parking around except paid parking 2 blocks away. No drinking water or tea/coffee in the room. The breakfast was most ordinary. The host does not speak English well. Took city tax in cash and did NOT provide the receipt inspite of asking! He does NOT have a receipt book. Overall, this property did NOT meet our expectations. Sorry!

It was a beautiful space in a great location near the port just inside the old city. Very nice host, provided personal details of himself and his family's history of the space and the city.

There was nothing not to like but a couple things to know. Laundry is a laundromat down the street. There are steps up to rooms but manageable. The cobblestone streets of the old city are hard on luggage wheels and you ability to move it. Still come but take a taxi if you can.
