Bra Hotel Bari

This is one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed at. From the handwritten note, sparkling wine and appetizers that welcomed us in our room, to the gift bags at departure, the BRA Hotel delighted us at every turn. The room was very modern with an iPad to control the lighting, temperature, television and shades. The bathroom was very large with every amenity imaginable, including plush robes, slippers and even BRA branded sandals for the rooftop pool. We had an amazing breakfast in a room that took up the entire 3rd floor of the hotel and furnished like a palace. They even had a piano player, Giuseppe, entertaining us while we perused the variety of fresh food elegantly set out for the guests. At this buffet you did not go to an egg station. The chef, Manu, came to us and prepared our eggs table side. He was also the chef who prepared our rooftop dinner on our first night, one of our favorite meals of the trip. With only ten rooms, there was never a crowd and at times it felt as if we were in our own private villa. The owner and management of this hotel went to extraordinary lengths to fashion a beautiful and modern retreat in the heart of Bari and staffed it with professional and friendly people who went out of their way to make our stay special. With little notice, Alba and Nadia put together a lovely rooftop dinner for us, our two daughters and their partners, who were all staying at a nearby apartment. We told Alba and Nadia that the dinner was to celebrate our oldest daughter who was getting married that weekend. We were greeted with a table decorated with flowers, special appetizers and sparkling rose. We had another wonderful meal with live entertainment and they rolled out a special cake for the occasion. Even with the president of Slovakia staying that same night, we were treated like their most important guests. Thank you Alba, Nadia, JohnVito, Domenico, Alex, Francesco, Rita, Vito,Massimo,Leticia,Lydia,Jacqueline,Giuseppe and Raphael. That we had to leave!

Some staff members were not as friendly as others; we felt a bit judged.

Absolutely wonderful stay! The hotel is beautiful and pampering, the service was excellent, the room very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast delicious. Highly recommended! Everything was good

Service was excellent, in particular that of Tina at breakfast. The front desk was friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel was excellent. The room was loaded with apps to control every facet of functionality. We had to call the front desk several times and the first individual could not figure out a particular app. Most importantly there were no windows, the only window was a glass door to a small balcony blocked by a huge TV screen. The room had a smaller screen not sure why you needed two TVs. Our suggestion is get rid of the large screen and let some natural light into the room. Also there was a small open closet with about six to 8 hangers fine for a 1 to 2 day stay but we spent 5 nights in the hotel. We thought about using the stairs but no hand rails at the top of the stairs either. It did have a nice roof top dinning but it was closed in without a view since the “walls” enclosed the area with an open ceiling. Bottom line we expected better experience and would not stay at the hotel due the windowless and functionality of the room.

Upon arrival the staff went above and beyond with making sure we were well taken care of. The level of respect and service, given by every staff member on this property, is top notch. No detail was left untouched. We will definitely return to Bari just to stay at Bra Hotel.

It was a highlight of our stay in Bari ! Amazing friendly staff, always with a smile on their faces. The location is just perfect, the rooftop was very stylish and we were mesmerized to learn that we had a complementary view 5-course dinner . It was delicious, and all that paired with great Italian live music . What a hotel ! The rooms are new, beautifully designed. Thank you for a marvelous stay !

Staff was very helpful and friendly Decoration was not my style. Furmitures,walls and mirrors are very dark. For me it makes me depresive.Also it is too much digital,you can get used to it easily but I am almost 80 and my wife is 71. She is not as digital as me. So if she were alone it would be difficult for her. One more thing the loby was very tight,and again very dark.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Attention to detail and cleanliness. The thermostat was not operational during my stay. It was blasting cold air when I arrived and the fix was to turn it off. It was not corrected during my stay. Most features work through and iPad which has some bugs that need to be fixed. I was never able to order room service

I would like to say that the all staff and the attitude is fantastic, they take care about you all the time, you never feel uncomfortable, service is the best in Europe!!!
