Clean pleasant room spacious Well come drink was like a thimble size

Excellent service by the staff. Very comfortable room. Nothing

The hotel room was in desperate need of a refresher. Maintenance is not taking care of the rooms and so wall outlets are not safely secure. The shower is beyond its lifespan and needs a replacement as the metal was corroded. The bed was uncomfortable and the linens appeared overused. Two separate chairs in the room were cracked in half and the shampoo appeared to be watered down by staff. Lastly, the bathroom door did not latch so we had to use a trash can to keep the door closed while in use. This place was pretty dumpy.

Great location The air conditioning was not good and we had a hard time sleeping

Well located. Staff helpful and responsive. Elevator. Needs an update and makeover. Awful lighting in the room. Loft sleeping area is inconvenient and stairs dangerous. Bed was terrible. Industrial chic meets old world, unfortunately this no longer works at this property.

The bed is in a loft, up a staircase. The bathroom is at the lower level - less than ideal for an older couple. We managed fine, however.

The location of this hotel and hotel and room style was wonderful. Breakfast was included and the lady taking care of that each day was warm and hospitable. Having an iron in the room was great, a balconette door to open, the room had a kitchenette and small dining table (which we didn't need but good if you wanted to). There was a complimentary drink on the rooftop bar which I'd recommend you go to as lovely space for sunset. I'd recommend this hotel. If travelling in warmer months, I'd avoid the loft room. We had a loft room, level 3, which although created space and looked great, unfortunately you noticed the air con and heat upstairs rise by what felt like 10 degrees hotter (which made sleeping through very tough). The temperature upstairs and flat pillows unfortunately effected sleep, and one night after 11pm we had tables being dragged around from upstairs for about 30 minutes - so noisy so late one evening.

It was no problem for us but the stairs to the loft bedroom could be trouble for an elderly person or one with any infirmity that restricts climbing stairs. Bedroom is up, bathroom is down. Again, we enjoyed it and recommend!

Location Noisy , didn’t change towels, dark

Charming hotel in central area of the old town, worth wonderful and helpful staff.

Breakfast Difficult to find initially. Lightning in the room was challenging. Bed/sleeping in loft less convenient.

It was a medicinal property but completely modern in the infrastructure.

Beautiful hotel, great location.

Everything was amazing with one small detail. Loved the space and the stone wall. There was no remote to the ac in the loft so we were very hot at night.

Everything was very good, the facilities were great, everything was very clean, the bedsheets were very soft, the breakfast was also good, special thanks to the chef who, knowing that the child did not eat anything from the breakfast menu, prepared pasta especially for him. In short, the staff did everything to make us love both the city of Bari and their hotel. Thank you again, it was fantastic ❤️

Hotel is humid & odd smell - believe I read was an old wine cellar which makes sense. Rooms were poorly cleaned the amount of dust and mold was gross. Bathroom was not clean to include sink set up. Stairs are dangerous to walk down even for adults. Very cute design of room if better cleaning was done.

I found Palazzo Calò very nice overall, with exceptionally gracious and accommodating hosts who made the stay memorable. The location in the heart of Old City Bari was unbeatable - close to everything yet just minutes from the new city. I was very pleased with the experience and highly recommend it. Some furnishings starting to show some minor wear and tear like a broken TV stand and peeling tabletop.
