Our stay here was more than perfect. The host is amazing! The room is clean, the bed feels like heaven!! Clean and large bathroom. Something that you don’t see often in Italy - the large balcony. Absolutely amazing breakfast and wonderful coffee that our host prepared for every morning. Cute , beautiful building and has the perfect location - there are coffee, shops , 10 minutes away by foot from the historic castle, the beach, the street with bars and places to eat. It’s the perfect place for relax! We’re definitely gonna come back! And I highly recommend this place! You gonna love it!

This cozy 3-room B&B is located at 5 minutes walking distance from the historic center of Barletta, a harbour town with plenty of sandy beaches at 10 minutes walking. Although Barletta has over 94.000 inhabitants, the city is not overcrowded with tourists, by far. We found plenty of "lidos" either for a cappuccino in the morning, to relax or a more trendy lido for a cocktail. The host of Al Vecchio Borgo goes above and beyond. The room was cleaned on a daily basis, the typical Italian breakfast was very fresh and is served in the common area in turns if all 3 rooms are occupied. We had an amazing time with as highlight the hospitality of Maria! Grazie mille! Not applicable.

The room was clean, spacious, also the bathroom was clean and nice. B&B is near everywhere by walk - city center, train station and beaches. Maria, the host, is really amazing, friendly and helpful. I liked everything about my stay and definitely will come back next summer.

Adequate breakfast - fresh croissants and cakes, plenty of yoghurt, coffee. Nothing to dislike. Anyone slightly disabled might find the spiral staircase a challenge. Don’t take huge suitcases.

Location, the sea, the old town and city centre are in the near. Wifi and air condition is ok. Breakfast was simple, always the same and very poor. The owner is kind but she doesn't speak English, the communication is hard for foreigners.
