Super 8 by Wyndham Barstow

We especially liked how friendly and kind the staff was, when we arrived late and tired. The room is very nice, clean, well cared for. The bed is comfortable, and the AC was very nice! The room has extra comforts like lots of places to put your stuff down.

It was a place to stay and had a shower. There was a smashed roach on the ceiling. The beds were super uncomfortable. We wouldn’t have stayed here but there were no other options. All other hotels in the area were booked.

Location The room not worth the cost at all room small as well needs updates on everything. The bed not great as well sheets and pillows and pillow cases we didn't stay we left.

Easily accessible, great price, gentleman on duty was very nice and friendly. Clear on price and policy as well as makes sure he’s looking out for his guests and shows you visibly on a property map of where to locate the room for easy orientation. Food options are right around the corner and could be walked to if I wasn’t already exhausted as I’m no longer acclimated. Dark indoor lighting in the room and bathroom counter area. No way to try and utilize natural lighting the next day to get ready without having the drapes wide open to possibly have a break in privacy. Only thing I’d add honestly is just bright bulbs and the covers for a metal door handle to combat the unforgiving summer sun.

It was convenient and close to my route. I feel like everything was clean, however the one chair in the room was stained in several places giving off the impression that it was dirty. Also, the breakfast was sorely lacking.

Check in was slow, beds were a little bit uncomfortable.

Staff was great they did have breakfast and it was convenient. The towels was not clean but it’s a older hotel.

Good bed and quiet location Condition of property was only satisfactory

First of all, check-in around 8 pm was through the window because the front desk door was locked for security although the area is very safe and not much people around. Secondly, the breakfast was served as Indian street food style, not hygienic, does not meet Wyndham or American standard and the cheapest way possible. For example: Sunny D drink instead of orange juice, butter stick cut into pieces instead of personal wrapped one, squeeze bottle of jam and jelly instead of personal small pack, bread slice is wrapped to limit the quantity, not enough soap bar or toiletries for the bathroom and sink. The owner runs the motel Indian style the cheapest way possible that definitely does not meet Wyndham or American standard for the room and for the breakfast. so I wonder how Wyndham approves this poor quality and the cheapest standard for this motel on this price ($85 incl./night). The worst hotel service out of my 10 nights West coast vacation and will not recommend. Wyndham should not endorse or affiliate this motel with this poor and the cheapest possible service on this price.

Easy fast and safe

Room was clean, bed was clean and fairly comfortable, bathroom was clean and took care of our needs. Good price, Entrance door was a little hard to latch you need to give it a little slam, if not you can push it open, managers said would fix, needs some cereal dispensers instead of a container that's to large for small hands, out of plastic spoons, I didn't like the yogurt hand dipped in little clear cup with a snap on lid, I rather have a sealed container. I know they need to be conservative but get real, I really hate to speak negative cause they need business and they provided me a room.

Room was clean and convenient. They changed my room to ground floor at no charge.

They took a room deposit and apparently didn't refund but charged me again the following day while I wasn't there.

Clean, quiet upstairs, Friendly Management, good value. Water Temperature needs to be about 5 degrees Higher!

Clean. Very cheap. Pets allowed for small fee. Some sort of continental breakfast. Basic amenities.
