The room was shady and AC worked well (visited during one of the many heatwaves). The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. Breakfast was extensive. The guests in the room directly above us were noisy, but that wasnt the hotels fault.

Room had been recently refurbed, very nice. Slight smell of paint but very nice. AC a treat. Great shower. Nothing really.

I think the hotel is undergoing an update, however I had an older room which was dissapointing. There was no cold water from either the bath / shower or sink There didn't seem to be enough staff working, so staff were doing multiple jobs therefore having to wait in the bar area for someone to acknowledge us & serve us

Blue badge parking was very near reception. We were offered help with our luggage which was good. Room comfortable and clean. Good choices at breakfast Noting really - happy with everything

Very clean and modern! Friendly staff and very helpful. Plenty of parking with shops nearby open late. Very comfy rooms and beds! Nothing!

The room was good it needed some updating in the bathroom the plug was missing and a shower curtain which is quite dated. It was all very clean just needed a bit of a refurbishment. The staff were lovely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was good and lovely surroundings. Just the room and bathroom needed a refurbishment.

check in was Ok room was OK Breakfast ok but many items empty Lack of staff - one lady serving behind bar, delivering food and clearing up She looked exhausted !

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Dinner It was simply not good. The beds were extremely hard, and all the doors in the place would bang shut.

The hotel was a perfect pit stop driving from cornwall to Cambridge. Check in was easy, the room was great, good size, big bed, very comfy, air con, bathroom was clean and had lush toiletries in there! Always a pet peeve of mine but never enough milk in the room to make more than one drink! Do I sacrifice my night time tea or the morning coffee?!

We stayed in this hotel to visit relatives nearby. The hotel has had an upgrade which is really well done. The reception/ bar seating area and separate lounging area is of modern design but manages to remain cosy and welcoming. Our room seemed brand new and was thus very clean and comfortable with lovely rain shower in bathroom. The staff were very welcoming and efficient. Will definitely stay again when in the area. . Not applicable
