After the entirely negative experience at check out. I met an Asian female front desk staff who seemed genuinely remorseful and took steps to accommodate my concerns. Offering full deposit refund and a 50% refund of my stay Indian Front desk manager was rude from the moment I checked in. Was not welcomed instead warned sternly about their fines policy on arrival. Room was unclean. Hallways looked like a ghetto project building loud, big trolleys with supply’s dirty washing, cobwebs and bolted down windows. WiFi doesn’t work. Room temperature doesn’t go above 26 degrees. Room phone doesn’t work. Missed buffet breakfast so I ordered breakfast to the room at a higher rate- chef simply plated the old food that had gone bad from being out earlier that morning and did not even include all items that were supposed to be included in what I ordered. When I tried to resolve issues with front desk that same Indian manager was rude and egotistical and emotional unwilling to compensate for anything

highway side of the hotel is noisy and the windows don't seal well enough to keep the noise at an acceptable level
-
Fitout of the rooms and common areas is aged and needs updating. Especially the bathrooms.

Location close to where I wanted to go. Taxis were horrible, late and at times just didn't turn up. Not the Hotels fault. Taxi's. Staff were brilliant and helpful.

Everything at hand, the bar is near thr entrance, friendly and accommadating staff. Maybe the downstairs area, reception, lifts etc... need a little bit of a paint job/upgrading?
-
The bathroom may need some kind of updating.
