The room was moderate, doesn't really meet my expectations, at least bed is comfy. Perhaps I should say I had to lower my expectations to meet their standard. Shower system was poor We stayed in the apartment suite. But it only has one lift working during peak operation hours (10:30am) due to maintenance. It was working during 9am, but for some reason closed for maintenance. We stayed at 11th floor, took us 30min to get to lobby. Poor management team

The staff at Basil restaurant are very accommodating and consistently display friendliness in their service. Their welcoming attitude creates a pleasant dining experience for guests and reflects well on the restaurant’s hospitality standards. It has been observed that a cockroach was found in the room, which highlights the need to further improve cleaning standards. In addition, hand towels were not replaced as expected.

The breakfast spread was good. And the rooms are bright, big and spacious. Staff are friendly & helpful. The room WiFi was not working well, so the whole trip we couldn't connect to the WiFi and couldn't watch the TV programmes too. And there are some defects in the rooms that needed to be rectified. Have written the list of repairs and handed to staff upon checking out. Hope the hotel will look into it.

The area is conveniently located to good restaurants and the ferry terminal The initial booking of a triple room was not at all as described or shown in the pictures. Those rooms are old with very poor amenities aand should not be offered for rent. The other rooms in the main hotel are very nice. Breakfast choices are very limited for non locals.

Price was good for the comfort of the hotel. Breakfast spread is also quite decent and there are efforts to train the staffs to make guests comfortable. The room wasn't ready by check in timing and we have to wait almost 45mins for our room. Besides this, their housekeeping actually CALLED US AT 745am to ask for the return of the iron / iron board. This is inconsiderate as not every one wakes up early morning during a holiday. Some rooms / facing you can also hear the Islamic call to prayer at 4AM. Not the fault of the hotel though. If you prioritise deep restful sleep, then look for another hotel.

Spacious apartments/ washer, majority of staff were warm and welcoming, had a pool and buffet breakfast. The hotel is not sound proof so you are awakened not only by the Muslim prayers being broadcast over loud speaker beginning at 0430 and lasting a ridiculous 30+ minutes, but the traffic is busy and loud all night long. The front desk staff were less than helpful. I called down several times asking a question only to be told they would check on it and never call back. This happened several times, lastly, the pillows are ginormous and too big for the bed which made it uncomfy to sleep.
