Batumi Summer Hotel

The host was very friendly and welcoming. Although the property didn’t have a kitchen, they kindly provided a gas stove for cooking when I needed it. The host didn’t speak much English, but he made a great effort to communicate and was always warm and helpful. The room was quite spacious, with a double bed and a sofa bed. The location was excellent—we were able to walk to almost all of Batumi’s main attractions, including the cable car and the Ali & Nino statue. There was also convenient parking right in front of the hotel. The only downside was that the property is a bit old, and the TV only had Georgian channels. However, considering the price, the great location, and the hospitality, these were only minor issues.

The hotel is in the heart of Batumi's charming Old Town, which makes it a great base for exploring the city. It has a cozy, authentic atmosphere that matches the surroundings perfectly. Our suite was spacious and very well-furnished — comfortable and stylish, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. However, the bathroom had a persistent damp smell, likely due to poor ventilation, which needs improvement. We also had some issues with the in-room safe, which seemed outdated. One of the highlights of our stay was the friendly and helpful staff. Special thanks to Vartan, who provided excellent service and assisted us with everything we needed — truly made us feel welcome. Breakfast was good, with a decent variety of food. That said, the selection was the same every morning, which made it feel a bit monotonous. Still, the breakfast staff were attentive and made sure everything was well taken care of. Overall, despite a few small issues, we would recommend the Old Town Hotel to anyone visiting Batumi. It’s a cozy, well-located place with excellent service that makes for a comfortable stay. ________________________________________

The owner was very nice, waited until 2 am because we were arriving so late! He speaks only very little English, but it worked anyway.

The host is really kind. The room is spacious. The bathroom is decent. It is a walking distance from a lot of sights. There are dishes (plates, spoons, knives, forks, glasses). There is also a fridge. There is air conditioning. There isn't a kitchen, so you don't have anywhere to wash your dishes. This can be difficult for a long stay if you cook. There isn't a shower gel in the bathroom.

Location is perfect. In the heart of Batumi. The host Levan was very kind and giving us fresh mandarins and other fruits from his threes. The price was also decent and cheap.

Nice and quiet location with a garden. We could do the laundry without extra charges. The owners are nice and friendly, but communication is much easier if you speak Russian. No shower gel (shampoo and soap was there)

Excellent property at the best location in Batumi. The garden is amazing. We stayed only two nights, but felt sad to leave. Doesn’t happen so often after a hotel stay. The owner, Levan, such a good person. When we were leaving he walked with us to the gate, waited untill the taxi arrives, and it was genuine, felt like he is a relative/friend. It’s so peaceful and calm in that apartment, we might go back and stay there just for that. STRONG RECOMMENDATION.

Good location in old town, close to everything but tucked away. The room was clean and really good size. The host greeted us warmly and gave us slippers, tea & coffee and fresh fruits he had picked from the garden. We would have spent more time in the garden had the weather been better.
