Amazing location and room service and services

Breakfast and location were good, hotel is dated though. Staff was friendly. You pay for the location. Dinner was just OK, standard food. Better options inside town. Mattress was rock hard, very uncomfortable. Parking could be an issue as well. You pay premium price for the location, Internet was spotty at best.

Location is across street from lake and close to the Ferry. The decor in the room was very basic, no color, but clean. The shower stall is shallow and could overflow, but loved having a makeup mirror near the sink.

Wonderful location. Charming historic hotel. Lovely view of lake. The management is delightful! They were very helpful in sharing history of the area and pointing out interesting things to do. Breakfast included, a charming old fashioned record player played in the dining room giving it a very special touch.

Hotel Eden is right on the shore of the lake. It had everything needed to make our stay comfortable. Since it was mid June, the heat was already unpleasant, but the AC in the room worked great. Room was ok, spacious and clean, beds quite comfortable. Breakfast is basic, I couln't find any warm food (eggs, for example), but the rest was ok. Parking is public and close, and instructions were clear. We arrived on a Wednesday, and there were plenty of places available. The room had some minuses. First: the noise in the morning. There was some garbage loading noises, broken glass, very close and unpleasant. Not enough power outlets close to the bed for charging our devices.

The staff wasn't interested in offering service so I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for a hotel in Baveno.

The location, with a great view of the lake from our opening door windows - one of the best. Wonderful breakfast, clean room, friendly family based staff .... lovely easy-going environment. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Had a lovely stay at Hotel Eden. However, our room was meant for 4 with a mezzanine level. The metal spiral staircase was a liability. Hit my shoulders on it on several occasions, had to drape a towel around several areas to lessen the hazard. Little room to open and use suitcases ... no coffee/tea making facilities in the room. For us Aussies, a fridge and kettle are always welcome!

It is a good family run budget conscious hotel. It was good. Industry standard. Breakfast: Nice unique offering like Focaccia. Eat inside at reserved table or cross the street (like another hotels) for breakfast by the water. It was steps from the bus and ferry. A real espresso machine

Breakfast was more than substantial, plenty for choice. The sitting out area at the back of the hotel was ideal you could hear the church bells. Location was perfect a short stroll across to the lake where you could dine.

Loved everything, great room, great view, wonderful continental breakfast and lovely restaurant Lakeside. Good value for money. Very clean. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Right opposite boats to Lake Maggiore Islands and Stresa. Would highly recommend a stay here. Thank you Hotel Eden. Nothing every thing was great.
