Hotel Rosa

We had a really nice stay in the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, in contrast to some reviews. The hotel is well located with parking at the back. The breakfast is nice- with nice coffee. room was spotless. We stayed in May when the temperatures were getting quite warm but the air conditioning was not switched on as yet. This applies to most hotels in the area. Unfortunately as our room was at the back of the hotel, facing the train station this meant we had some noise during the night when we had the window open.

Excellent hotel near Lago Maggiore and nice restaurants. Perfectly clean rooms and delicious breakfast. Grazie mille.

Noisy air conditioning of outer units and water through pipes noise

2/3 People were pretty nice at the front desk, one was a bit grumpy. Room was pretty nice and clean. Breakfast was good. Air conditioning was good. The room door was pretty much only decoration. We thought the people at the corridor would stand next to our bed. No noice canceling at all. The room service (cleaning) failed twice while we were staying at the hotel but it was clean at the start.

Excellent location, very clean room, staff were very helpful and friendly - the check-in process was quick and easy. Managed to get rooms next to each other. Parking was secure. Very good breakfast. Room was fairly small for 3 people. Not many parking spaces and they were quite small spaces, there was a risk of scratching other cars.

Clean, comfortable

We needed a triple room and were arriving after midnight free attending a music festival. The hotel staff reassured us that we could arrive at any time. The night Porter was available and guided us into the secure parking and carried our bags up. The room was very comfortable, with a nice balcony and view at a great price. The bathroom was large and well-equipped. The mini bar had soft drinks and water and one beer, perfect for a refreshment. The air conditioning was great! We had a crisis we had to manage by phone in the U.S., and we had to stay up all night. I messaged the hotel from within Booking.com and asked for slightly late checkout and they were very accommodating. We love this hotel. Great value for money, polite and friendly staff, comfortable beds, fabulous AC, and good location near Stresa. Enjoy!!! It was all great.

The location was awesome and the roof top terrace was amazing The pillows were not comfortable. You couldnt lock the bathroom door without the help of someone standing outside pushing.

Room on the top floor has a magnificent view! There is also a terrace open to all guests up there if you want to buy something to eat and drink and enjoy the view. The room was clean, beds were comfortable, AC worked well and bathroom was modern. The hotel is in a great location close to the lake shore. Nothing - everything was great.

As of tremendous stress with booking cancelled 2nd night which I found out afternoon before next day 5 hour drive to italy. As I had called and messaged in writing after call to make sure they book us parking and also upgraded for 2nd night balcony, lake view, I got an email shortly after that 2nd night was cancelled on my side. I had not seen any message from booking and called hotel, who said they were full. I immediately booked another more expensive hotel . My girlfriend who speaks Italian called hotel Rosa and was told that reason for cancellation from booking was that my credit card did not get through. I had no idea and was shocked. Why did nobody from booking call me??? See above
