lack of hair dryer and USB charging outlets. The walk-in shower design causes water to splash out, and the drainage is rather bad.

The room is clean At check out, the staff refused to issue an invoice for me even I had insisted many times. I even told her that it wasn’t my first time staying at that hotel. She refused to do it and told me to ask booking.com for the invoice. It was absolutely frustrating and wasted my time to chase the invoice as I was traveling for work.

It's not the hotel's fault, but it was a bit hard to reach the SPICE center on foot due to the condition of the pavement on the road. You better use taxi/uber.

I like the room at 2651 and 2652 with so much space and very comfortable to stay. I would like to extend our sincere thanks to AC Hotel by Marriot by providing us upgrade and surely we will come back and stay again on our future visits to Penang.

Breakfast was a good spread for the price. The route to the suites was winding, so rather unexpected.

Staff check in on the first day was not professional and also being a suite, the sofa smells of sweat of other people who have been there (do some steam cleaning to remove residue smell of those who have stayed there), since these are suites.

Stayed here to attend a conference The Ship Campus. The location was convenient to go to the airport and The Ship campus, but might be considered far if you want to be near to Georgetown (it was roughly 15-20 min Grab ride to Georgetown). There are shops around the area, but not the most buzzing part of town. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Great facilities, but was not able to use them due to time constraints. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Great water pressure for the shower. For the purposes of this trip (which was mainly to attend a conference at The Ship Campus), the location was great, but not great if your aim is to be within walking distance to explore Georgetown. It could also be useful in terms of location if you want to be close to the airport.
