No drinking Glasses / No Cup / No Kettle. No hand towels in Bathroom - only small / tiny towels. Bed sheets unchanged.

The staff at this Ibis hotel were very kind and helpful, one gentlemen even gave me a good recommendation for a restaurant that serves bœuf bourguignon. The breakfast was a very good value. The location in the Saint Esprit quartier was excellent as it was quieter than other areas of Bayonne. Also, the air conditioning worked great. The things that I wish the hotel room had were: an in-room coffee maker, a refrigerator, a microwave and a water glass (there were two paper cups in the room, but they were pretty flimsy.)

Friendly helpful welcome - by staffer who was keen to practice his (very good) English! Took as a little time to spot the parking and how to fget in - some more detailed instructions would have helped.

The breakfast offering is a good, especially if you need an early start because the food is available from around 6am. Secure car park is a great reason to stay if you have personal belongings in the car overnight. proximity to the city centre is ideal, provided you don't mind a 10 minute walk! I have booked up for our return journey from Portugal back to the UK.

Location Paying for parking is not good. The beds we slept in were very hard and uncomfortable, we have stayed here a few times, the beds in December were ok, this time awful, too uncomfortable to get a restful sleep, or any sleep. Since this is the reason you go to a hotel, it makes a nonsense of the rest, no matter how good it is. We cancelled our reservation for March.

Good location by river, comfortable bed & good onsite parking. No food available & only one restaurant open that side of the river. The Indian restaurant was fine & of course busy.

Within 15 mins of train station and only a slightly longer walk to get to petit bayonne and old bayonne, so plenty of eating snd drinking places nesrby. Very good breakfast. Good shower, plenty of power points and storage No tea or coffee in room. No english channel option on tv
