Location, grounds, pool and decor. Staff were very professional and pleasant. I liked the breakfast very much . Disliked fact both lounges were sat up for afternoon tea by 10am today making the lounges unwelcoming. Horribly disappointed by the lack or robes and the fact we didn’t even get our towels . Food menu for the evening was very limited and boring it was better under previous ownership when the food was delicious . We would have been happy to upgrade our set menus but this wasn’t even offered to us on our first night . We would have happily spent an extra £30 food as the set menu was dreary. Beds are too soft and rooms were too hot, the fans supplied were totally ineffective . Wierd that bar closes so early.

Great location and nice pool My key card wasn’t working properly and lights went off every 5 seconds and went to reception and a really really nice guy tried to fix it and ended up changing rooms at 11pm! Receptionist made me feel uncomfortable like I was an inconvenience which is a shame as she was very friendly on arrival. Told on arrival no food available which was tough as I had been travelling so ordered a Subway which they delivered and it was left at reception. I edited 40 minutes outside and she did not make a proper effort to find me. Involved calls with subway and me eating a cold jacket potato. The handyman was exceptional. The pool on one of the hottest days of the year was closed for maintenance too! Breakfast staff were asking people to move when they had ordered their breakfast as they had a dog! I asked to sit outside as it was a beautiful morning and told no! Customer service needs addressing. It’s a shame - it could have been perfect.

The house is beautiful and has lots of what seems like original features however the decor is tastefully done to reflect modern style also. Not enough Sun loungers for guests unfortunately

Nothing The check in was strange as I was asked several times about emails and contact details. Seemed a bit disorganised. The room was small and hot even though a fan was there. We could not get any food for dinner, which was unbelievable. We nearly left to go home at this point. Breakfast is basic and not sure how fresh fruit is tinned fruit. Big let down this place, so do not bother. Overpriced and a rip off

Lovely welcome.. amazing service from all the staff... especially from Josh, Kesia, Olga & Ilias.. all so friendly, helpful and going above and beyond.. as an example they didn’t have much choice of 0% alcohol drinks when we visited, so Ilias let us bring our own to dinner.. nicely surprised and genuinely appreciated.. Room was great.. Lime has windows facing front and rear, spacious and spotless.. Food was great... building and grounds are a delight.. pool is divine.. really enjoy our time here.. if its warm and dry get there as early as you can and leave as late as you can.. it's a joy to spend time here.. A few more 0% alcohol options (wine, prosecco or gin).. pretty sure you'll sell plenty...

Lovely building and grounds. Good swimming pool. Very nice breakfast. We were disappointed that there were no food options available in the evening as the restaurant was full.

Beautiful building and setting. Nice food Disappointed that the grounds appear neglected

Rooms were nice, well furnished and bed comfortable Dogs barking in rooms and keeping me awake plus waking me up at 6am, road noise was bad

Beachfield house is a beautiful building our room was spacious and comfortable and fully equipped we were bed and breakfast which was excellent and lots of choice swim pool area was nice sunbeds and towels provided lots of parking spaces we had a nice stay The bar shut at 9.30 and the hotel front door was locked at 10 felt abit like a curfew also the flower beds in front of the coach house were really neglected which was a shame as it made it look slightly rundown I know the hot weather hasn’t helped but a good tidy up would have made it look so much nicer

ROOM AND SWIIMING POOL. Room had space, towels were soft and the radiator was warm for the towels. Great grounds for walking with dog and picnic in the summer. Pool was great, can be full at certain times. Only thing is the vegan breakfast was not best as the avocado tastes like a premade from the shop, not fresh. But the full english were tasty. Overall, I will definitely come back as all the staff was lovely. I would request fan in the summer as it can get hot in the room during the day. Vegan Breakfast, room being hot as fan did not work too well.
