We will definitely be back to the Beaufort Inn. It was convenient to everything and walkable to shops, bars, restaurants and Bay Street. Our accommodations were perfect!

My time at Beaufort inn was great! Very close 2-5 minute walks to some great bars/restaurants and places to see. Beaufort inn has great hospitality and staff. The AC was nice and cold. The only upgrade i think would be nice is some more modernized TV’s with better resolution but that was just for a brief time before bed. Some of the furniture could use a simple touch up with paint. Besides that Beaufort inn was an awesome stay and i would recommend and if i return in the future will rebook with them.

Location and ambiance

Charming spot in walking distance to much of what Beaufort has to offer. Welcoming staff, comfortable rooms, and lovely porches/gathering spots around the property.

Everything was great, especially the cookies and milk in the evening.

Super nice inn, everything was perfect. Staff walked us to our room when we checked in, showing us where everything on the property was. Room was very nice, bed comfortable, towels and washcloths were so soft, I'm ordering a set for our house. Continental breakfast was good. Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies in the evening was nice treat. Nice restaurants, shops and the waterfront area all within walking distance. Highly recommend this inn and the town of Beaufort.

Charming Inn, welcoming, helpful staff, love the courtyard & cottages. Great that it’s so close to downtown Beaufort!!

Loved everything! The breakfast was really nice. Biscuits, gravy, ham, fresh yogurt, granola, blueberries, boiled eggs. At 7pm there were homemade cookies and milk. They even gave us free Hunting Island park pass where there is a beautiful beach. The staff was always kind and friendly.

The room was okay, but there some dust under the bed and the doors into the bathroom could have done with being cleaned. The room was a little dusty; however, the building is old. The TV worked in the room. I didn’t use the Keurig in the room because the water chamber didn’t look that clean. The water dispenser in the lobby gave nice cold and hot water. My boyfriend and I were disappointed with the breakfast. We were looking forward to some nice scrambled eggs and bacon/sausage. Instead, there were chicken nuggets, cheese biscuits, sausage gravy, yoghurts (blueberries and cantaloupe), scones, and donuts. The cheese biscuits were pretty good, but they didn’t hit the spot like some good old eggs and bacon! The Greek yoghurt and blueberries were nice.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom cottage with our own front and back porch. The bedrooms were decorated with period pieces adding charm and character. The original wood floor and exposed brick in the kitchen also added to its charm and homeyness. The kitchen had several pots and pans and basic cooking items. We have recommended a mixer for those(like us), that do cook while there(a large glass casserole dish would also be a nice addition). We did buy plastic silverware as it currently only has cutlery for 4 people, so you would need to wash this after every meal. We made our own breakfast, but understood breakfast in the main inn was provided! We used the bikes to do some of the Spanish moss trail which we picked up only about 5 minutes from the inn. They also have a card for hunting beach which would normally be $8.00/person to get onto. The beds were very comfortable and ceiling fans were a nice addition in the bedrooms and living room. We would definitely stay here again.

very nice place

We enjoyed the property but it was too hot to enjoy the outside areas. It was walking distance to restaurants and shops and right by the water. The only thing we would suggest is a better breakfast offer. We didn’t eat anything other than coffee and juice. We would stay here again if in the area. Enjoyed Beaufort

Great breakfast. Beautiful accommodations and lovely staff.

The Beaufort Inn is a beautiful facility, walking distance to restaurants and shops. It was a relief to find a historic inn with an elevator. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the stay.

Lovely old inn in downtown Beaufort. The staff were excellent, accommodating me and my three little dogs even though our note about the animals didn't come through. That said, the room was quite small, the bathroom pretty outdated, but other than that, a perfect location. They are very accommodating, but like many hotels and inns, they charge $45 a dog which is quite a lot for one night and resort fees. I ended up paying $160 dollars on top of the room rate. Not unusual, but it signals that they really don't want animals. Without animals and a few days to explore, this is a great place.

Beautiful grounds, southern charm and the breakfast was delicious!

The historic Inn was in the core of old Beaufort next to the lively Social District but set off enough to be quiet. They sit on a whole block which makes a comfortable environment of indoor and outdoor spaces with lovely gardens. I really enjoyed my stay there with the care of the staff making it very welcoming.
