Location was first class, just a short walk from the Forbidden City. Hotel standards were excellent. Only ate in restaurant at breakfast but had really good choice. The gym and pool were both adequate for what we needed. Concierge team were incredibly helpful Over 100 tv channels but lucky to find any English speaking ones

Clean, quiet, good location

Hotel location. Nice and big room. - There was no luggage stand when I checked in and had to ask for it. - The air con set at 15 deg C was still hot and a fan had to be brought in.
-
The room was very hot, unbearable.

convenient location. revisiting the place when I had a visit there in 60’s as a elementary school student none

Exceptional concierge service. Good location. The room was too hot and there was no way to control the temperature from the room. Need more temperature control in the room and more charging points (USB-C, on the nightstands). Offer international postage service through concierge desk.

Very good location, the building is amazingly beautiful! We booked a deluxe twin room, four nights at the end of October, the first room they assigned to us was suffocating warm(hot), no air circulation, window cannot be opened, when we complained they gave us a set of electric fan, and said it’s because they’re using natural air as conditioning at this time period, room temperature may be higher during day time ( but Beijing temperature was between about 7-15 degrees C that day). However, it’s still very hot( even when I was only wearing a short sleeve) when returned to the hotel after dinner, we insisted on changing room and they finally gave us another room of the same category and that room was so much better, at least with a normal temperature and we can also open the window a little bit. The stay was then pretty comfortable until the fourth night, a cockroach appeared in the bath room and we had to chase it to near the front door until we could actually stepped and smashed it. We mentioned this to the front desk staff the next day at checkout and they didn’t seem to be surprised!!

Spacious room, iconic history, convenient location, beautiful interior and exterior, very friendly staff , delicious breakfast…
-
-Located right in front of the Wangfujing subway station and within walking distance of the shopping streets and cultural landmarks, easy to get to from Daxing Airport. -The room was very big with separate shower and bathtub. -Breakfast was very good with a wide selection of fresh western and asian food options. -Staff was very friendly and professional.
-
The size of the room (very spacious, actually we had also a living room), the comfy beds, the friendly staff, the choice and quality of the breakfast buffet, the location The internet was almost not working…

Near to shops Wifi
-
Concierge service provided by Luke was exceptional The room door closes with a loud bang. So does some of the other rooms. Its disturbing when one is resting / sleeping. Though its considered a 5 star and heritrage hotel Decor seems a little dated.

The hotel building is great and the location is convenient. The internal of the hotel is old and looks worn-out. The room decoration and furniture are old too. And the bed is hard.
-
No air conditioner and given a electric fan

Hotel is perfectly positioned with easy access to all sights. Rooms were massive and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent - especially for those looking for western meals. The rooms are old fashioned and do not have any USB's available. The aircon system is run on an ancient board next to your bed, and doesn't work well.

Was very central and in front of the subway to make transport easy. Staff always offered to help rather than being asked.
