The bathroom and shower facilities are excellent, the four towel bars are conveniently located. Nice large windows face the city, regardless the construction during my stay (May 26-28). The breakfasts were fair, not the best, but acceptable. The price of this Hilton Garden Inn is higher than the Hilton garden inn in Hangzhou XiHu district, where has lower price and includes breakfasts. The location of Beijing Guo Mai Hilton garden inn is compromised by the current construction.

The room was spacious and nicely furnished, but unfortunately, the air conditioning was a major disappointment. It only worked for ventilation and couldn’t cool the room below 25–26°C. When I raised this with the receptionist, I was told it’s hotel policy and that I should open the window if I wanted the room cooler. Seriously? In a 4-star hotel, I expect basic comfort—like being able to control the temperature of my own room. Opening the window meant dealing with street noise and strong cooking smells. That’s not what I paid for—I booked a hotel, not a random apartment. To make things worse, the bed was so hard it felt like sleeping on the floor. Overall, very disappointing experience. The AC. Breakfast was excellent—varied, fresh, and different each day, with cooks preparing eggs and other dishes on the spot. Water wasn’t displayed, but available upon request or you could bring your own from the room. The area was very clean, and staff promptly cleared tables. The room was spacious, cozy, and clean, with large windows and a comfortable bed. I noticed a few hairs on the carpet and in a towel—likely just an occasional miss, as towels might come from an external laundry. Overall, the cleaning staff did a great job. Wi-Fi didn’t work on my phone—possibly due to my VPN—but worked fine on my tablet. When I couldn’t book a taxi because of the connection, the manager kindly arranged for me to go to my meeting with the hotel car free of charge. A truly thoughtful gesture. Great location and a very pleasant stay overall.

Very good location and clear room Wormly stuff but not english speaker. The AC screen is placed inside the sleeping room and the light of the screen can not be turned off, therefore room can not be dark

The property was very convenient both in terms of price and location. The breakfast did not have cold water (only worm or juices), but on the request the proceed to provide you with it. The staff does not speak English almost at all. The rooms are not very well isolated soundwise.
