The staff were warm and attentive throughout our stay. We'd especially like to thank Ann at the front desk for her exceptional service. She was incredibly helpful and made sure our request for a high-floor room was accommodated, which we really appreciated. The bathroom was another highlight. It was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable to use. A mini fridge in the room would have been a nice addition. We also noticed that the flooring in our room was quite squeaky, which was a little distracting at times. The narrow alley leading to the hotel was slightly inconvenient to walk through, as we often had to make way for passing cars and bikes.

The hotel is placed in a very quiet area, so you will be able to sleep. It is also nearby the train station. The staff is great, most of them speaks English without any issue. There are some convenience shops nearby and also a Buddhist temple is nearby, 10 min walk!

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff were welcoming and kindly helped us carry our luggage up and down the stairs. The building and interior design are beautiful, and the common area with snacks and coffee is very convenient. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of both local and international dishes. The bathroom is large and modern, and the heated toilet seat was nice. Very good location, walking distance within the starting station to the airport express. A few small things could be improved. There was only one small roll of toilet paper in the room, which might not be enough even for a one-night stay. The bed was about 1.9 m long, which may feel short for taller guests. Soundproofing could also be better, as we could hear the upstairs kids jumping at night. All curtains and lights are controlled electronically, which is very modern but may not suit everyone.

The hotel location is great. The room was spacious, including the shower room. Outside deliveries are done directly to the room using a robot, which is very convenient. It's easy for a taxi/didi to drop off at the entrance, but the hutong is a one-way street and gets narrower and narrower, making it a real challenge to leave the hotel. Also, the entrance and between the checkin desk and the elevator, there are unavoidable stairs, making it a challenge if with heavy luggages.

Great location in the heart of Beijing, friendly and attentive staff members, snack and drink stations on each floor that is free to grab as you come and go. Entrance is in a narrow valley so not very convenient for car/taxi pick up.

The staff were very nice and helpful. Nice common area with free snacks and drink. Location is convenient although we do have to navigate through a long crowded street to get to Guijie and the subway station. I really don’t want to say anything negative about this place because the staff were so nice. But I do need to mention one thing which is the sewage smell in the hallways especially at night time. The laundry room probably smell the worst. I understand it is an old building. But it did bother me a little while we were there.

The hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable and well located. All the staff was nice and helpful, we felt very welcome there. The breakfast buffet is amazing with a lot of Chinese cuisine choices, which is very enjoyable. The room was comfortable and clean.the area is as Chinese as it gets, in a hutong, close to lama temple and ghost street. We recommend it!

The property rated 5 star but in fact it is 1 star hotel. So it was a fake description in booking. Location is in very bad place. Old and tight roads. Not recommended at all

Besides its Chinese architecture characters, fantastic locations to so many restaurants in 簋街，railway station, also within a Hutong cultural precinct, within the second ring road, easy access to Forbidden city, Beihai park, etc. Nina at the reception is also excellent. I ended up staying 15 nights with my wife and children here.

Free water and drinks. Welcome fruit tray and berry juice in your room. Rooms are very small but mighty. Every floor has a lounge area to relax, free water, soft drinks, and snacks. I regret doing the dress up and photography service linked to the hotel. They took us to a very crowded location for pictures, while the photographer did not do a good job with the pictures.

The property is very clean. Location is walkable to many popular spot. The receptionist are very welcoming especially the one helped me Sam.
