Main reception was great, check in went very smoothly and we even got a room upgrade which was incredible - one of the nicest rooms I’ve ever been. Housekeeping was great, really nice and careful. Both experiences in the restaurant were uncomfortable (not to say bad). On our first night we went to have dinner and they clearly wanted us to eat fast, they even interrupted our meal just to have me paying. Two days after we went for breakfast - we went at 9:55 since we were told that they could serve us until 10:30, but apparently it was only until 10:00. As a result, we had a waiter going after us with the translator saying “take all the food you want because we will start removing it”. Within 5min there was no food and we spent all breakfast with the background noise of the employees laughing, joking and cleaning around the area. We never came back to the restaurant because of this.

I was very happy with the upgrade to a suite, and the room was enormous. There was a huge bedroom, a lounge room, a few sofas, two bathrooms, and three televisions. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff was friendly. It was so hot! The air con barely worked at all, even though I had it on non-stop while I was in the room, and overnight. It was actually quite uncomfortable, which is the main reason I couldn't give top marks to comfort. However I understand that this might be a city-wide thing once a certain temperature is hit, as every store we went into was also hot without any air con.

The location is absolutely fantastic. Close to the main transportation hub (Dongzhimen station), just 5 minutes walk (where you get on the Airport Express) and close to many restaurants. Also walking distance from the Lama temple and Confucius temple. Breakfast was great, both selection and presentation. And the buffet offer proved to be an excellent choice to dine. The staff was very polite and friendly and I had no communication problems. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Well, the overall cleanliness was great but the carpet might need a small refresh. Other than that the confirmation that Booking.com has sent me stated that this hotel accepts only Chinese citizens but that was not true. I am European and they accepted me without any problem. The only issue was that I asked them for confirmation before my trip and they responded only after a few days of delay. But those don't change my overall great experience.

Very convenient location near Beixinqiao. Lots of shops and restaurants. Easy from airport. Staff very helpful. Rooms very large for the price. It would be good to have coffee in the room for international guests. Breakfast was expensive for what was offered.

Everything - the room is huge, facilities are perfect, spotless clean. Will definitely stay here again. Nothing, everything was perfect.

Hotel is in a good location on the outskirts of the city fringe close to great eating areas. Check in was smooth and hotel staff speak English well (contrary to previous reviews). 24hr reception - bathroom was large and room was comfortable

The room was clean, the room was ok and enough big for one person, the staff tried to help me but almost all of them don’t speak English (only one person spoke English) Two things: 1. The quality of breakfast was bad for the five stars hotel, only the fruits was fresh, the other things had a bad quality ! 2. Almost no body speak English in this hotel and it’s really bad for five stars hotel that nobody speak English (only the woman who was pregnant spoke English who was only in the morning!)

The hotel was awesome. Excellent room conditions beyond my expectations(better than a lot of 5 stars in the US). The staff was extremely friendly. Easy to get to subway stations (10min walk)
