I was booked this property buy they said its under demolition after booking accepted

Mark was an exceptional host really helping me out in my first day of my visit. He allowed me to check out way early in the morning without me even asking him and because my flight had arrived at 05:00 in Beijing. Secondly, he helped me by setting up all of the apps that are needed for payments and daily use. To be in a country where they have a complete different system and his help & guidance helped me a lot to adjust as quickly as possible, relieve me from stress and understand the chinese apps. I didn't like that there was not much natural light coming to my room,but I believe it was the only room that had this issue. Aside from that the room was just fine.

It’s a bit hidden, but you just have to walk to the end of the street and you’ll find it!

Kelly's Courtyard Hotel is a cute little hotel in the old Beijing area. Our room was so cute and cozy and very clean. Mark was very attentive and helped us with anything we needed. It can be a little noisy when people are coming and going at night. And there is no barrier between the toilet and the shower so the toilet always gets wet. Didn't bother us too much.

The location is excellent. Very close to all main attractions. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Mark at the reception was so helpful with all the information and bookings. Totally recommend this place.

Mark was fantastic, very kind and helpful. Simple morning breakfast included, enough to start the day. Mark had great suggestions for sightseeing. The airport pickup was very helpful. WiFi not great. Location is convenient. Great cafe (award winning cheesecake) around the corner. Wifi was patchy.

It was a nice place, close to the center! Our host, Mark, was really friendly and helpful.

Staff are very helpful and rooms are cleaned every day. Place is authentic and in a cool neighborhood. Way too expensive for a hostel vibe. In China you can get a huge modern room with a gym and good breakfast for way less than this. Rooms were cramped, decor is ancient, and breakfast is akin to a youth hostel.

It was not curtains in the bathroom and after shower it was wet all around.

I really enjoyed my stay at this courtyard hotel. The hotel gave an unforgettable Hutong experience in Beijing and Jaclyn was very helpful and sociable. The room was spacious, the courtyard has a great vibe and location was fantastic.

Kelly’s is in a hutong close to Xisi station, easy to find if you get a taxi ordered the first time and then pin the location. It feels like living amongst locals in the neighbourhood which is lovely - I was unlucky with Tiananmen and Forbidden City being blocked during my visit but the hotel is super closeby so in normal times it’s extremely convenient. The inside of the hotel itself is peaceful and idyllic, rooms have a very comfortable double bed. I had my own bathroom and toilet and enjoyed the courtyard view. Temperature control is great inside as you’d never know how hot it is outdoors. There is a nice terrace and common room upstairs to hang out in. All the staff are super kind and welcoming, it was a pleasure interacting with them. Biggest bonus points for Mark, who manages the hotel. I sincerely mean it that he is one of the kindest people I’ve met. He helped me plan some of my visits, gave restaurant recommendations and helped to order a Chinese dish I didn’t know how to find, and had interesting conversations about our respective countries. He even made sure I made it to the airport when big road closures made traffic unpredictable. Thank you to you and all your staff, I can’t find a fault with my stay ?? Nothing! I think some of the rooms would feel small 2 or more people stayed in them but that’s it.

Mark was extremely helpful from the start of planning my trip and made my solo travel a lot more efficient and enjoyable with his tips and assistance. The hotel is also very close to a subway station so transportation to and from major sightseeing locations was easy and affordable. The stay was cozy and clean and I rested every night. There was nothing. I can't wait to go back to Beijing and stay here again.

This place is super charming and Mark who runs the place is an amazing nice guy! The rooms are beautiful, the rooftop terrace is really romantic and the neighborhood is really nice and chill, even though you’re still very much in the city center. I really don’t have anything to say negatively. If you travel with heavy stuff, it might be challenging since cars can’t reach it and you have to walk a bit.

Great Hutong courtyard experience with a lot of personal touches. I really enjoyed the tranquil breakfasts in the green calm. The rooms aren’t too private: most of them face the courtyard.

The staff was very welcoming and ready to answer any questions. Our problem was finding the place. It's very hard to find, especially since there is no sign on the door. We were lucky to run into someone who was returning to the hotel, and she told us where it was.
