Some of the facilities were outdated/old. Our bathroom door didn't lock, but it didn't bother us. I'm sure that if we asked, it would've been taken care of.

the hotel was in a great location, 1 minute from exit c of dengshikou station and less than 10 minute walk from the wangfujing pedestrian street - there was also a supermarket open until 10pm within a few minutes walk which provided a lot more options than the 24 hour convenience store across the street. Staff were wonderful, especially concierge who were extremely organised especially with food deliveries and taobao orders (other hotels I stayed in china my parcels often got misplaced etc but concierge always found my parcels here instantly). The room potentially hasn't been fully updated since the hotel opened (maybe some minor updates here and there) so there was some dated decor but it was still in impeccable condition for the age of the hotel and I found it to be extremely clean and well kept. The laundry room was free and laundry detergent was included for hotel guests to use at their leisure. I can also confirm when I stayed in late april I was able to use AC in my room and keep the room at a temparture around 21 degrees (sometimes hotels in china turn off the central unit and only allow heating until the summer but it was on here in late april).

1. The daily refill Nespresso capsules 2. The supportive staff especially the receptionist hi 3. The lobby environment which looks grand 4. A 24hrs provision shop behind the hotel 1. The room condition which looks old especially those wooden furniture.(Looks like a North Korean hotel which totally opposites with the grand lobby) 2. Room for 3 but couldn't open our entire luggage in the room as there are no spaces available. 3. An unnecessary glass coffee table that is heavy and hard to be shifted, this occupied certain space of our room(1309) 4. No spray bidet available for WC. 5. Entitled Washing/ Drying machines that are constantly creates problem where it doesn't work well, clothes are not drying enough. 6. The total washing machine and dryer machine are not balanced, therefore a long queue for the drying machine after washing is finished. 7. AC was not available in the first few days and the receptionist claimed that AC was shut down and operating on natural air. 8. The entitled shaver blade is not sharp enough. 9. The room charges(6 nights) were not worthy with the room condition.( I can lower prices for the same 3 pax room in Pan Pacific Hotel)

Great location. Around 10 mins walk to Wangfujing street where you can find restaurants and shops. Also metro station was right at the corner of the hotel.
