However, the room had a poor view, and the cleanliness was only average. The location is good, but considering the level of service, I think the hotel is overpriced. Overall, I’d like to try a few other hotels in Beijing before making a final judgment. At this point, nothing really made me say “wow”—it was a very average experience. Ironically, the best part of my stay was the laundry service.

We travelled China for 6 weeks, staying at 10 Hotels during this time and The Peninsula was our best experience. The staff were excellent, their attention to detail and service exceeded all the other Hotels we stayed at. Breakfast was a mix of buffet and à la carte items and was the best food quality and variety that we experienced. It was one of the two Hotels that we returned for dinner multiple times during our stays. Nothing. Doing everything right.

Location excellent, staff prompt and very helpful Room service whilst could have better food. The dining options are ok (the Chinese restaurant I was expecting much better, the main bar area on receptions food was also a little disappointing (not bad at all but not great and it should be). Also the whole place seemed empty as did the restaurants. Overall though this is where I will stay next visit to Beijing

I loved the atmosphere, the vibe, the room and the breakfast. The hotel oozes class and style. The combination of design, ambiance and functionality were impeccable, and made this hotel the ultimate choice in the Wangfujing area. Breakfast was chef-restaurant quality. The only caveat I could think of, other than the relatively not that high ceilings, was the bakery at the breakfast. A bit more butter and water would have been in place. Other than that, all perfect.

Very good choice at the breakfast buffet to meet every taste. Excellent staff and beautiful room. Maybe the breakfast area was a bit over crowded due to large travel groups but staff did a great job accommodating us quickly.

As a business traveler, you can easily work from your room while enjoying great food and hospitality. It feels wonderful! Definitely worth the money and perfect for business needs. Everything is great! It's not just the facilities; I truly appreciate the hotel staff as well.

Spectacular location and superb staff. The concierge was especially helpful with booking restaurant reservations and even bringing in an outside tailor to help alter a suit jacket.
