Feel confortable Nice breakfast Perfect for a short stay

The lady making the breakfast was very nice. I arrived late, and had annonced it with confirmation. However, there was no information about which bed was mine or anything. So I didnt even find the right room, and ended up sleeping in a bed with used sheets. Not so good..

I’m the centrum? Toilet was good That you get breakfast in the price Scetchy area Not washed bedsheets at all (I needed to ask for clean ones, that almost wasn’t clean either) Very expensive for what you get Breakfast could have been better A little complicated to get in because of the app, you need Bluetooth and WiFi for it to work WiFi didn’t work at all when I was there, they had no idea how to fix it and I needed to take from my own

Good location. Nobody from staff was here to greet us upon arrival. The bathrooms are not clean, and common spaces are not comfortable at all.

I was arriving late at night after check-in was closed. I contacted the hostel 2 days before to explain this. They sent a video showing my room and bed and provided me with an App that would allow me to access the hostel front door. Yuri and the team were warm and friendly and despite my lack of Portuguese were always happy to help. This would be my first choice if I was to stay in Belém again. Not really a negative, but the breakfast was very basic, the coffee however was excellent.

Location was really good. For breakfast most of the days was just bread with butter and juice and coffee. Was supposed to start at 7:30 a.m but in reality was starting close to 8 am. The hostel was not clean at all. I found coachroaches 3 times. Once after informing the personel (who was lying on a sofa scrolling the phone) about the fact that I found some there was no reaction. The bathrooms were not prepared for the amount of people hostel was having during the Círio. One bathroom broke down, leaving for 2 days just 2 bathrooms available foe the whole hostel. No ventilation in a room resulted in a constant bad smell.

I booked a tour with the hostel, the tour was cancelled because of the bad weather. Not only was I never reimbursed but they pretended that they would reimburse me for 2 weeks. I was very patient and understanding but I never got reimbursed. They’re not honest.

What was really important to me, is that this hostel and the staff and other guests there , contributed largely to make my stay in Brazil and in Belem , an unforgettable and amazing experience into the 'real' Brazil. I feel priveliged to have been able to do this trip. So thanks to all of you. Ronald

The location is good for seeing various sights in Belem. Comfortable beds. Nice big storage chests for your luggage, lockable if you have a padlock too. The bathroom was not clean. I think there was just the one toilet and shower for the whole ground floor of guests which is not enough. Breakfast was just bread and jam and coffee so pretty minimal compared to other hostels I've stayed in. The code for the gate was 7 digits long and not easy to remember. At points I would be at the gate rummaging through my bag to find my phone to get the code out and enter it and the staff would just sit there less than 1m from the door doing nothing when they could have let you in. Also the door to our dormitory was a giant, sliding glass door??? Zero privacy, very noisy and difficult to open/close.

The staff is super kind and helpful, plus the location is just amazing!! the room was comfortable. the electricity went down and the owner fixed it even though it was very late. the place doesnt feel like a hostel and literally has no vibe at all. the light was off throughout the day/night and the loby felt shady. the kitchen is not as good as i would expect from a hostel.
