The only good things for which I left 2 stars are the location, the breakfast, and the warmth of the room. I stayed at Atera exactly two years ago for a weekend, and the room I received back then was much larger, cleaner, and—as reflected in the review I left at the time—absolutely excellent. Unfortunately, this visit was very different: The bathroom was not cleaned at all. There were hair strands everywhere from the previous guest. Black and pink mold was visible throughout the bathroom, the ventilation barely worked, and the smell was extremely unpleasant. The room had very large, heavy curtains that seemed never to have been washed. They smelled strongly of dust, to which I am allergic, and after just two hours of sleeping near them, I experienced an allergic reaction. The pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable. I am not referring to the decorative pillows—which are rarely cleaned and must be removed—but the actual pillows meant for sleeping. They were so soft that it felt like lying directly on the mattress, and my neck still hurts as a result. Overall, for nearly 100 euros per night, it is disappointing not to receive even the basic standard of cleanliness. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I do not plan to return.

Location was great. Food at breakfast was great. Room was clean. Laundry was super overpriced and they lost a shirt. Definitely don’t use this service - it’s outsourced. The rooms/hallways smell like cigarette smoke (even though you aren’t supposed to smoke in the hotel). The hotel is in a mixed use building and smoking is allowed on other floors so smoke is a constant smell - I had a sore throat due to the smoke during my stay. Everyone smokes in Serbia and they also smoke inside.

Very good one , perfect location and stuff almost nothing

Location is perfect, exactly just on the centre of Belgrade. When you get off the building, you are in the famous avenue. The room was small but clean and well designed. No sport or gym option. No balcony. But big windows and they can be opened.

The entrance is quite hidden

Center of everything ! 2 min walk to republic square 5 min to bohemian quarter. Walk out the door and you’re at all the shops and restaurants. Breakfast disorder by a menu and the food is very good. The restaurant is fun to just hang out and all day as well or if you need to leave your luggage and get a drink while you wait. Slippers in the bath Robe is a bonus Very comfortable bed. Needs more lighting in hallway and new carpet

Location was superb. Breakfast was great too as well as frond desk staff. Hallways carpet need to be replaced. It’s the one thing that threw us off.
