Design Hotel Mr President

Room was nice, but would appreciate a bit of an upgrade ;D Bathroom was a bit of warned down but, not something for I would say: I didn't like it.... Maybe a bit of an upgrade would come handy.

​However, our overall experience was highly disappointing. We were originally booked at a different hotel but were redirected to this one instead. Given this change, we expected a better room or at least access to all facilities, but we were treated like second-class guests. We were restricted to a tiny, poorly maintained staff elevator that only serviced certain floors. To make matters worse, this elevator was constantly occupied by the staff, making it nearly impossible for us to use it efficiently. It felt unsafe, as if it could break down at any moment. ​Inside the room, the air conditioning was working whenever it felt like it, and a problem with the hairdryer was never resolved. While they offered a room change, we didn't find it practical to move on our final night. The worst part was a group in 2 or 3 rooms who made unbearable noise from 7 PM until 5 AM. Despite reporting this via WhatsApp and the Booking app, the hotel never responded or intervened. ​In conclusion, this hotel does not provide value for the money. I would only suggest staying here if the rates were significantly lower, as the management and discriminatory policies are unacceptable

I liked that the employees had breakfast in the restaurant after the breakfast hours for the guests and in that way the hotel reduces the amounts of food that should be thrown away. For almost 5 days I had almost no Internet connection, because they had a problem with the WiFi on the fifth floor. I had to go to the reception in order to get some Internet connection. Sometimes it wasn't functioning even in the restaurant. Another issue was that the floor in the room was shaking when some vehicles or tramways were passing next to the hotel. I was told that it is kind of normal. ??‍♂️ It is obvious that the hotel needs a restoration. I didn't make any pictures to prove it, but there was a hole in the bathroom's ceiling, the tap in the shower was wobbling in the wall, and there is a huge security risk with the room's doors. When the employees open the door with a card, and close it without putting the card on the door again, then any person can open it from outside without using a card. There was a strange practice of an employee to come in the late afternoon or evening, once it was 21 o'clock, in order to exchange the towels or clean the room.

Stuff was very nice let us early check in and stay after check out for fare price. Old room, old hard mattress, no ventilation in bathroom and restroom. In general you see the ware on the room.

Everything was great. When we arrived, we were able to park in the hotel car park at the rear. The room was a decent size and the bed was very comfortable to lie on. The bathroom was good, with a reasonably powerful shower and the usual toiletries. The breakfast was very decent, and Alum, the breakfast attendant was extremely kind, helpful and constantly cheerful and chatty. He recommended a really good Indian restaurant when we asked (specifically about an Indian because we were craving a good curry). The desk staff were also very friendly and helpful. Very little we didn't like. I felt the bed was a bit too close to the wall, considering the more than ample size of the room. Also, we couldn't find a safe. It wasn't an issue for us, but it might be for some. These are minor issues, of course, and overall, our stay was great.

Location was good, close to the newly developed waterfront area and walking distance to all main areas of the city we wished to visit. Breakfast was a small selection but was all that was needed for our stay - breakfast waiter was very helpful (even when the coffee machine was broken and unable to be used on the 2nd day). On arrival at the hotel the room we were given hadn't been cleaned from the previous guests and the beds were not made etc. The hotel offered to send someone to make the beds which was not suitable... these should have been a full clean and disinfect. Eventually after some persuasion we were given a new room. This should be a simple check before handing out the room keys ... the ironing board etc was all still left out and practically still warm! On the second night of our stay, both rooms we had booked had the key cards de-activated as if we had already checked out. This was inconvenient but reception staff were prompt to resolve so not a huge issue in the end. The overall condition of the hotel is definitely not a 4 star property. This is closer to a high 2 star or 3 star at best. The facilities are dated and in need of refurb. The shower is powerful but with no door on the shower cubicle the whole bathroom is like a swimming pool by the time you are finished ... The first floor landing is like a launderette with the cleaning staff having bedsheets, pillow cases, towels etc all over the floor so a trip hazard for anyone looking to use the stairs down to the main reception. Again - would not expect anything like this setup in a 4* property. The toilet in one of the rooms we had booked didn't work so we had to constantly leave the room and walk down to reception to use the bathroom - raised with staff on the 2nd night of our stay but nothing was done to check this or send maintenance to fix. I'm not one to go into lengthy reviews but a lot of these issues can be easily resolved by the hotel management and the property would be far better suited.

Great location, very comfortable bed, and super hot shower.

Old room, not very clean, but the worst is the BED BUGS I found in the bed. Don't stay here! I had to change the hotel in the middle of the night and they never refunded me back so far

Everything from the check-in to the check out. The staff was exceptional . My favorite person was the housekeeping manager. She has that warm and welcoming smile that makes clients feel home ? Nothing

Great location for exploring Belgrade center and waterfront. The staff was very accommodating to all of our needs. The rooms were great. We would stay there again!

room was good. Location was also good, close to the Galeria shopping mall, the river, transport and shops. Breakfast was also good.

Choice of this hoel was made according to my business needs. Good staff, good breakfast. Trams may be a bit noisy.

Spaceous room with a living room and bedroom, equipped with a cattle and coffee maker. Good breakfast. Fast free WiFi.

What I liked mostly is that I got very quickly place where I could stay and sleep last night after i have landed at Belgrade airport around 23:00.I had a problem with previously booked apartment 50 meters from hotel and aparently it was so called ghost apartment.However ,after booking the room in hotel ,first room was not cleaned not at all and in second room there was some old guy from Turkey watching the TV ?.After i walk back to reception just after the Midnight ,the lady at reception found me finaly single room which was empty and cleaned.I think her name was Marija and i would like to say Big thanks to that lady for her help.The room.was clean ,they have water heater for coffee and tea From profesional side ,i would say that hotel needs to be renovated but out of that the bed was perfect.Also they serving the full breakfast which was included in the price.Not sure are they have some other amenities in hotel but I will look very soon when I come back.

Exceptional

The hotel staff was simply wonderful and so helpful. Location was furthermore great and food choices at breakfast excellent.

It's a good location of the hotel and personality is helpfull. First of all I booked President hotel which is from the same chain. After we came to the reception, we got another hotel, which is around 200m walking distance from President. We checked in and first evening a bus of young kids were coming in, so no sleep till 4am, whole night fight with them....and like this another 3 night when they mooved us one floor higher and it was good, but we were tyred like a monkeys because of previous experiences....Unpollite Greek teachers with their kids....
