Good People Design Hostel

Ecerything was fine with the hostel. The stuff are very supportive. They provide some interesting events, for instance they provide a free woffel baking session and offered to all.

the design of the place is not bad. there are curtains on the beds. there is AC in the dorm. The restrooms are tiny and uncomfortable and were clean most of the time. the place is decently located but not great. many people staying in this hostel seem to not exactly be travelers but more "long term", which created for us a bit of a weird atmosphere unlike usually found in backpacker hostels. the main problem during our was the staff- they were not openly rude but really did nothing to make us fell welcome. and when we came to pick up our bags in the evening the person on duty made us fell very unwelcome and that we better hurry up and leave, which honestly never happened to me. also, he tried to convince us to take a taxi to the airport saying that there are no buses when there were clearly plenty of busses and we did end up taking a bus with no problems- I don't know if there was ulterior motive for the Taxi suggestion or if he was just lazy or wanted to be unhelpful on purpose. generally felt unwelcome and even a bit unsafe, it all might have connection to us being Israeli?

This hostel has an amazing vibe. The staff are wonderful, and the guests it attracts are genuinely friendly and welcoming. Everything is thoughtfully designed and well organized. Having evaluated it from both a guest’s and a host’s perspective, I can confidently say it deserves top marks. I’ve stayed in the female dorm, mixed dorm, and private room, and every experience was excellent. As a hostel guru, I’ve stayed in all kinds of hostels around the world, and this one easily earns a 10/10 from me? Nothing major to complain about. However, guests who are very sensitive about privacy and plan to stay in a private room with their partner should note that the soundproofing isn’t perfect? Otherwise everything is great.

The most satisfying thing is the boy staff at the reception ,when I store my luggage and visit Sarajevo and need come back to fetch my luggage,, but the bus changed and I afraid that will make me miss my flight,so I call the staff and ask him help me deliver my luggage to the airport if I haven’t enough time to pick luggage, and he agreed to help me, He really touched me, I am very grateful. Even though this thing didn’t happen. I strongly recommend this hostel,just book it, it’s very worth Every thing

Cleanliness

Cubby hole beds are great, 12 to a room not so great, but it’s well designed so it’s a lot better than I would expect a 12 bed room to operate. Garden area is very nice. Staff is very helpful. Kitchen is good too. Location is in a very cozy part of Belgrade. Perhaps not most convenient spot for access to the center hub transport, but if u use Moovit app probably u can figure it out. And Belgrade is a nice city for walking too. No real complaints about hostel. Had some roommates who didn’t realize that listening to video on phone at 2am without headphones is not kosher…

great staff!! my first room was horribly noisy. people in/out til 2am. people having conversations. people leaving the room and the door staying open - bright light right on my bed. i got moved to a smaller room and no issues the next two nights. and waffle hour! noisy rude inconsiderate guests in my room of 12. nothing against the hostel though

The shower had good hot water. This hostel basically is pretty small. The common area for Travellers to sit and relax is very limited and the charge is a little more than what Booking indicated.

Good deal Nothing

Good People Design Hostel is run by truly kind and good people. The hostel is centrally located, making it easy to get around the city. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. The entire place was spotlessly clean. The kitchen was well equipped and functional, with free coffee and tea available. I was able to walk everywhere from the hostel, and on the rare occasion I needed to take a bus, public transportation in Belgrade was free. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés nearby. I really loved my stay here.

Extremely helpful girl at the reception desk. Total bang for buck place. Location was great for us Just minor aesthetic stuff in the room.

It's a nice hostel to stay while waiting for transit.

Very friendly. It's a hostel where you can really meet people from different countries if that's what you're looking for; it's clean and meets expectations. mmm I never felt uncomfortable or anything
