Clean room staff is friendly warm cookies for guests

Not quite what I had expected. Nothing wrong, but if you're for older properties then that's fine, but the price doesn't match the experience.

Our stay was fine.

This is not a great place to stay. The owners have clearly failed to invest in upkeep and amenities. On arrival we found water pouring through the ceiling in the arrival area - in two different places! - because the laundry room upstairs had flooded. You had to slosh through water to get to the elevators. Throughout the property wallpaper was peeling, paint was scuffed, elevators were glacially slow, lighting was mediocre, the room cards repeatedly needed re-keying, the fitness room was minimal, and some of the staff were less than friendly. In the room, there was a bedstand on only one side of the bed (I've never seen that), which led to us dubbing this place "the one-night-stand-hotel." Pretty sad experience.

And the property is fairly quiet, even though it is close to the interstate.

More than enough for a such price, yes it’s old and location not the best, but it will do the job.

My room was definitely 2-star in terms of cleanliness and it looked like the bathroom had undergone some very sloppy repairs. The $15+tax per night parking charge feels very nickel and dimey. Unfortunately, there's nothing nearby that is very walkable (Safeway + CVS about a mile away) and doesn't feel particularly safe to take a stroll by yourself. Be aware.

Location to freeway and restaurants was only thing. There was a CVS and Safeway close buy. Ok breakfast asked for some more bananas none were put out. Booked hotel requesting walk in shower what I got was room 128 with small tub next to work out room. Dark room bad lighting in back of building. So bad lighting no access to sun all heavy filtered. Upon check in was told there would be a pet fee and parking? Ok pet I get but uncovered parking id vehicle is over 7ft. It was not only me other people checking in were what? Then there were vans and trucks using 2 or 3 spots and paying the same I asked a worker staying there. Employees said we just started charging for parking. Please Booking make them publish extra charges. So a person can make a informed decision if it is really and fair price. Plus if handicapped individualizes make a request either state it can be fulfilled or not. I think I know why as customer has no choice once hey show up I think it's called bait and switch.

Well-appointed 'executive' room had everything an '80's executive would need. Mini-sink, generous work surface, two mesh-style office chairs, a big(ger) screen TV and a separate bedroom with its own smaller flat screen. Only things this suite didn't have was USB charging facilities in the main room ... and a HVAC system that worked (!). Controller did nothing except display the current temperature. None of the buttons did anything. Checking the wall mount Amana AC/Heater, there were no signs of luge there, either. Unit was plugged in. Plug-mounted breaker had not tripped. There were no indicating lights on, no clue why nothing was happening. A call to the front desk produced nothing. "Maintenance has already gone home. Just wait, sometimes it takes awhile." No room change offered. Opened a window to cool things down. Closed the window at 4AM because it was very cold outside. (No heat came on, either). Advised front desk the HVAC was out at checkout. They took note and apologized, but offered no compensation. It was as if I reported a burned out light bulb. Obviously, this lavish '80's Executive Suite property has lapsed, and is getting a bit long in the tooth, and the (new?) East Asian management is not doing it any favors. Great location, very competitive price, but lousy customer care.
