Hotel Boulevard Plaza

Location, breakfast and staff We stayed there because my daughter had a surgery and the hotel was only 0.5 miles away from hospital but the Bedroom is outdated, shades wasn’t closing properly we had to call maintenance, shower you can control the stream, too much pressure, mold and mildew on the ceiling, phones not working, every time I needed a room service I had to go down for requests. At the checkout I was being charged for 3 cans of beer that I didn’t consume from the fridge… their quality dropped from three years ago, unfortunately.

The location was perfect for all tourist area in area of Belo Horizonte! I always like the location and the staff of the hotel!

They did't warn on website and booking.com about single room and their beds.

No frills Hotel. However, the room was large, clean, and the staff is very courteous -- at reception, check-out, and restaurant. Restaurant is fair, but it takes its time to fill in orders. Breakfast is very good, but no options for Vegans or Gluten intolerant people. Hotel is very well located, but noisy due to being on major avenue. TV has VERY limited cable (most of it religious channels). The hotel looks like it froze in 1985. It's ok after you get used to it. Minibar with limited options. Cable TV very basic service. Restaurant closes 930pm and it takes a long time to serve (35-40 minutes wait for a simple dish -- not in room service!).

Good selection of fruits in the breakfast. There are no gluten free options in the breakfast. No sugar free cereal. Fired eggs are floating in oil. There is no choice of TV channels. Only religions and few low-quality national TV news. There is no sound proof in the building, so you are constantly bothered by the noisy coming from guests' bathroom when they shower. Moreover, the hotel is located at the corner of two very busy avenue, making impossible to sleep w/the traffic noise. There is no single place one can work/use laptops, apart from the small room, which are very small, even to allow a good stretch... There is no gym.

Location us on the great place to reach all round the city. Good restaurant and easy transportation round everywhere in downtown areas. The hotel need a up day on the rooms, for air-conditions in Eletric plugs on thy walls, and the bathroom need to be more model with a better shower.

Exceptional

Excelent breakfast and staff. The room we were assigned had something leaking in the bathroom. There was a pond of water in it. The minibar worked fine but was so old it was rusty. Some of the bedding had stains on it. The AC was a window one, loud and old, no temperature control.

Limited amount of parking spaces(they have an agreement with the hotel across the street to use it with the exact fees) The room was by the side of the lifts. We could hear the noise from the room. The bathroom light was turning on one of the room’s lights and you could not turn it off from the room.

The breakfast and location.are very good. The hotel is super noisy. I could not sleep properly during the 3 nights I spent there. It was a horrible experience.
