ibis budget BH Afonso Pena Savassi

O hotel tem uma boa localização, num bairro com vários bares e restaurantes. O estacionamento no local também é muito bem-vindo, facilita bastante a estadia. Já conhecíamos o Ibis e, sendo assim, não tivemos surpresas; sabíamos o que esperar — e, para nossa estadia, que tinha como objetivo passear e visitar pontos turísticos em BH, foi uma ótima opção. Não tomamos café da manhã no hotel, então não posso comentar. O estacionamento é meio caro, porém conveniente.

The location was great - we were near everything at Savassi. Coffee and snacks were available in the afternoon, and a water dispenser was located in the lobby, which was very handy. They offer some frozen meals that can be helpful if you don't feel like leaving the hotel or do not have delivery apps on your phone. While the lobby area is small, you can utilize the dining area during the day if you ask the staff to let you in. The bar staff was courteous and helpful. The beds were comfortable and the linen was clean. Since the room is quite small and it fits up to 3 people, it would be nice to have more hooks in the room where you can place your items. There is no privacy per se, since there is no bathroom, just a toilet closet and a shower within the room area - if you are sharing a room with someone you're not very intimate with, this can be an issue. The shelves by the bed were loose and leaning forward so they were useless as more storage space. There were no hand towels in the rooms.

It is really beautiful, amazing decoration, comfortable beds, amazing location. Good soundproofing. The service was disappointing. Once I waited more than 20 minutes to buy an ice cream at the front desk and nobody showed up. A second time I waited more than 10 minutes for someone to re magnetize my keys. The bathroom had bugs. I asked the front desk if I could borrow a charger since I arrived past 10PM and I had forgotten mine, I would charge my phone for 5 minutes at the reception so I could get my alarm and they said no. My paper towel was never refilled and I had to go to the front desk myself everyday of my stay to request more. I was there for almost a week. The trash was never removed from my bedroom even though I specifically asked to. The cleaning person told me one day to leave by the door and it stayed there, at the hall to over six hours. The magnetic card at the elevator almost never worked at once, making me and other guests waste a lot of time trying to get to our rooms.

Room is simple, but very clean and mattress is really comfortable. Breakfast with great options. Nothing to report. I would come back.

There is no surprise here. It’s the standard Ibis quality. The shower is weak. Needs to be replaced.

Location is great and safe. Breakfast is very good and organized. Nice frontdesk people. Lift waiting time, many floors though. Wifi didn’t quite work well.

Breakfast was great, the staff was very nice and helpful, the location is quite good, the rooms are cleaned daily and left very nice. the room should have been a bit more spacious for three people considering that if you use the sofa bed for one person, there is no space for seating around. This is an apartment with kitchen and microware, but there were no pots and pans provided so there is no use in saying that you can cook there. Only two small glasses and two plates. No kettle and no coffee mugs, so there are no coffee/tea making facilities either.

The building is in a nice area They changed my room and gave me a pretty small one. It was barely possible to walk around the bed, the floor was dirty, the TV didn't work, the bathroom was small (the sink was placed outside of it, in the room).

The towels could be better, the beds and especially the shower are somewhat old. The aspect of the bathroom, which is old and worn out. The soap seems poor. The towels seem old too.

The location Wifi was not working for both the days that we stayed there. It took us over one hour to check in Ac in our room wasn't working, so the second day we had to change rooms. The room was really very small
