Woods Hostel

Love this place, stayed twice. Beautiful lakeside location, great breakfast included, warm and helpful staff. Comfortable beds with privacy curtains. Close to important historical landmarks. A long walk to public transit but uber moto is at the ready.

This property exceeded my expectations. The location is very peaceful next to the lake. I am very grateful for the help I received from Enrique at the reception. He was very professional and helped me with all my questions about the area. There are lots of good dining options near the hostel such as Xapuri or Chopp de Fabrica. Thanks to all the staff for providing me an excellent stay. I would return and recommend.

I liked it a lot and will come back. Aircon in the heat saved the day!

Great location, helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, comfy beds, clean, with common areas to relax, hammocks, good view of the lake, nothing to complain about, will go back if I get the chance.

Perfect!! located in a safe, peaceful, nature place. Enjoy my stay here, definitely would come back if any chance in Belo Honizante.

The staff is always very helpful and kind. The hostel is nice and confortable. The room was a bit small, maybe too many bunkbeds for that room. But it was not full so at end it was okay

The hostel is really nice. It has a big garden, swimming pool, spacious common area, a very good kitchen. The staff are also very friendly. The location is closed to the lake, very chill and safe. The location is far the centre but there is not many public transport nearby. The most convenient transportation is uber.

CAREFUL if you want to take a bad in a mixed dormitory. They don’t say it but it’s a room with 24 BEDS ! beds with 3 levels. On the top of that, no toilet or bathroom in the dormitory, you share one toilet/bathroom with another dormitory (so imagine someone’s taking a shower). Don’t expect to charge your phone in the bed because on the top of having no curtains for intimacy in such a huge room, some beds (in the middle of the room) don’t have the possibility to charge the phone. There’s no locker or cupboard so your bags/luggage will just be on the floor. The breakfast is very minimal AC 17degeees Celsius so even if it’s summer, pack a warm pyjama or you’ll freeze during the night I had a terrible night, so the hostel outside of the room seemed nice but when you don’t sleep, you don’t care much about the rest

The space is amazing, the staff is super flexible and nice! I really liked it The bathrooms are too small and not enough, but it wasn’t a big issue- but if they create more for sure would make their hostel even better . The mixed room has 24 beds, it was a bit scary however sleeping there was not too bad, they have AC and a fair space between beds.
