I liked the property, its amenities, and helpful staff. I had trouble getting a key that worked to open my room door, but they sent someone to help. And, while I appreciate the desire to "save the planet" by not washing so many sheets, knowing I was sleeping on sheets that had been used by previous guests was not bad as they seemed clean, but it was a little off-putting.

Everything but our greeting was perfect. The "they" at the counter never smiled, talked softly, didn't engage us in any conversation. Only asked the questions they needed to ask to complete the paperwork. They were NOT friendly. Everyone else was helpful, breakfast was outstanding. We usually come to Benicia twice/year - have always done AirB&B or stayed in Walnut Creek. Will stay here next time. Would prefer to be on top floor (lots of running around in the early morning by the person above us) and on the back side - as we opened our window and the freeway was noisy. Beds were very comfortable, we got fresh washcloths/face towels from the housekeeper on our second day. Next time we will try the pool. Didn't appreciate the cold welcome. Hire someone else to deal with the customers!

The bed was very comfortable, the room was impeccably clean, nice big tv, pool was clean. It was perfect for our stay.

Good location in Benicia. Close shopping and very good restaurants. Good size rooms. Friendly staff, good breakfast. We liked our adjoining rooms. We were provided with a cot we requested. The cot was very soft and not comfortable, so it wasn’t used.
