Good amenities for the price. I was surprised they even provided pads in the women's bathroom. Even the shared spaces are clean.

Excellent value for the price! It's a hostel so we didn't expect much, and the rooms were indeed small and you could hear your neighbors. But everything else was great: it was clean, calm, close to the train station and many restaurants. If looking for a budget friendly option in Beppu, we would stay there again! You have to make the bed yourself with the provided linens. There is no staff there after 9pm, so you're alone if you have any issue (luckily we had none). No real luggage storage after check out, but they do offer to keep them in the lobby.

It's a very hands off hostel, so even if the front desk is "open", you won't really see the staff. Have to make up your own bed too.

The hostel was great for what I needed, and I could see there was a good lounge and kitchen that would've been useful if I'd has a chance to use it. The best part was the amazing sauna and cold plunge, which I didn't really discover until just before I left because I was out at all the other onsen all day! But I decided to check it out on my last night and was very pleasantly surprised that is was so great! Everything was clean, but the place could use some attention as it's looking a bit shabby around the edges.

I liked the quietness and cleanliness of the place. Also, it was near the important places I needed to go. The sink was full of leftover food. There was a little smell, but it wasn't that bad.

Close to station. Front desk staff was so nice. Good vibe for meeting other travelers. Common space was cool. The beds were squeaky (the top and bottom bunks were connected so you heard ppl move a lot) and the room was super hot at night.

The season I booked was super empty, only me for a whole dorm room. Nice location with an amazing guest lounge. I really like the decor with mangas and the FC Beppu jersey. The bed was like sleeping on a flat surface, even rougher than the camping sleeping bag.

Affordable accommodation

Location, location, location. Close to the bus and train station plus wonderful neighborhood restaurants. Perfect base to visit all of Beppu and surrounds. The place had a very new feeling and was spotless. Nice common area to visit with other guests and to cook simple foods. While it doesn’t have an Onsen there are some local ones within a few blocks. The sauna was amazing —-clean, with a cold plunge pool and relaxing area. Staff was friendly and helpful. The futon beds were a little thin and uncomfortable

Sauna was nice and i like that it was really close to the station ? The room had an odd smell, not sure if that’s because of the property or because of another guest

One of the best hostels I've stayed at, and for great value.

Excellent location minutes from the station. Very nice kitchen and lounge area. Friendly helpful staff. The bed futons were so thin and hard in the dorm room.

The solo room I booked was super reasonable price and size wise. The sauna area was great and I liked that they had an outdoor area to go to after cold dipping. Two small things. The staff seemed annoyed when I was checking in. Do I think it was directed at me? No. But the vibe was off. Then I wish the sauna reopened before 7. A midnight sauna session after going out would be so nice, but I get that not everyone is responsible.

Very clean, close to Beppu Station, spacious and clean common space, very comfortable, nice staff, and very comfortable. Awesome sauna. Very reasonable price. One of my favorite hostel. Nothing.

Nice clean modern space, staff speaks English. Close to the train station and the nightlife/izakaya district of Beppu. Would stay here again!
