Beautiful hotel with a good restaurant. Great location on the main road in the old town. Easy to reach and park. Nothing.

Breakfast was good the room for a triple, and was very large with two bathrooms, however one toilet wasn't working and we let the staff know three times and no one can to fix it.

Beautiful location. Middle of old town but with easy access to street. Great service. The owner even helped us with some car trouble. Great hospitality Lots of stairs

Part of the experience, but don't rooms are a long walk up and can be tiring for little kids.

Absolutely beautiful hotel in the heart of Berat! The rooms were beautifully decorated, the views were incredible, and the location was perfect. The staff was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast was wonderful, and the dinners were just as delicious. We had a fantastic experience and would happily stay here again. We booked two rooms, and one of them was located higher up the property, requiring a fairly steep uphill walk and several steps to reach. It wasn’t an issue for us, but it’s worth noting that guests with mobility concerns or difficulty walking may want to request a room that’s easier to access. We actually loved the views from the higher room.

Location, delicious breakfast, friendly staff. The hotel also has a restaurant with amazing view and delicious food. We actually ate there twice.

The location was perfect (but not you have to be able to walk up 40+ stairs). Breakfast was lovely and the breakfast staff attentive and courteous. Dinner was sub par. Staff at night was inattentive and the food was average at best. There are much better options for dinner in town.

1. Staff are incredibly friendly, warm, welcoming 2. Old charm, definitely feel you're in a UNESCO WH site, very beautiful & authentic 3. Views are stunning no matter where you are in the hotel! 4. Close enough to walk to the castle 5. Very clean, nice that there was tea and coffee For the price, there were key things that were a big issue for us: 1. Our room had a large window (on a second door) to the hallway with no cover. After some effort (and wasted time) I managed to hoist a towel in front of it. 2. Two of the windows had no curtains so the light poured in each morning. 3. There was no lock to the building to our room entrance so we felt exposed at night. 4. Breakfast is way too much food, feels like a waste.

Just a note: there are quite a few stairs and no elevator available. Overall, it was a great stay — the room was quiet and very spacious. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel Ansel is centrally located in town. The rooms are beautifully designed, and the breakfast was divine. Hotel staff helped me with my bags, but the steps to the hotel are steep.

The hotel was very clean, the staff was polite, the breakfast was excellent, the brd was comfortable,from the restoration we have beautiful view of the old city and river. We have a problem with the air-conditioned in the room, but it was solved .

This hotel was quite nice about our short trip to Berat City.The staff was absolutely amazing.We really liked the breakfast,excellent location and a spectacular view from the window of our room. We aren’t satisfied enough with the facilities,the AC didn’t work as well and the shower was running cold during the time we tried to use it.

Right in the middle of old town! Very easy to find. Dinner at the restaurant with Albanian food was also a plus! Room has a beautiful view if you choose the river view. Walkable distance to everywhere. Room was comfortable. Breakfast can be improved by increasing options.
